Checked in T.V did not work. Had to move all of our luggage to another room. Very old room dirty furniture. Mirror above sink terrible. You could not even see yourself. No bottled water or snacks in the refrigerator. T.V very small and not clear. Kind of snowy background. Just very unclean for paying over $300.00 per night. My suggestion. Find another Bed and Breakfast. Possibly the rooms inside the Inn were nice. Did not see them because we had a small 12 pound dog. They gave us the "Dog" room. It doesn't matter It could have been nice.

I would of given a 5 star for the room, but web page would not let me. Was so cozy, nice two way fireplace and huge jacuzzi . Enjoyed the get together for breakfast and small social hour. Frank is a good story teller!!

We love our visits to Asheville, typically once a year and always stay at WhiteGate.Everyone makes us feel welcome and breakfast is such a treat when both Ralph and Frank are on site to serve and entertain us. They build a wonderful community of travelers each morning at breakfast. Makes this B&B special.

The property is beautiful, the gardens even better. Ralph and Frank were the perfect hosts and, to us, that is the key to the bed and breakfast experience.

A great place to stay! A vacation location that cannot be beat!! The three course breakfast is amazingly good, and the dining room is a piece of 19th century beauty! Fabulous!!

I was traveling on my own and had never been to Asheville before. I found the WhiteGate in to be perfect as it was close enough to downtown that you could walk and the innkeepers were great. Not only did they answer any questions I had but just talking to them and learning about their story made it feel like home. I felt like part of a family. The social hour was very special.

Trip to see Biltmore was enhanced staying at this darling B&B. Lovely surroundings and near to town.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review! We're glad you loved the Biltmore and that you were able to come back to decompress and relax here. The Chihuly exhibit is going to be great to enjoy until Fall comes and we can continue to enjoy everything downtown that is walking distance from our inn
