Keep returning year after year

5 on October 06, 2016

I first stayed at the Voss Inn about 12 years ago and have returned several times since then. In fact, I make sure to stay here every time I come to Bozeman as I would never stay at a chain hotel given the wonderful accommodations at the Voss Inn. There is absolutely not one thing I would change about the place.

A great experience!

We enjoyed our brief stay at Voss Inn (July 2015). Beautifully decorated, comfortable, wonderful breakfast. The attention to detail was simply outstanding, right from start to finish. Highly recommended.

And to top it off, they had the biggest bath towels I've ever had!

Perfect place t0 stay for our daughter's MSU graduation !

We wanted a place for 5 of us to stay that was close to downtown , close to campus, and close to our daughter's apartment. The Voss Inn was perfect! We walked everywhere. The added bonus was the fantastic breakfast provided by wonderful host and hostess, Bruce and Frankee. It kept us going until dinner time each of the 5 nights we were there. We will be back!!!

March Spring Break with my Daughter

4.6 on March 22, 2015

We were on a sightseeing and spring ski trip recently and stayed at the Voss Inn. We were in the living room level room and found this very spacious. We arrived during tea time and it was quite refreshing as well as providing nourishment with sweets. The house is very close to main street and convenient to many restaurants. Although we could not stay for breakfast due to an early morning departure with Yellowstone Safaris Company to view winter wildlife, Frankee packed us a delicious breakfast. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this Inn to others.

We had a blast

The house is beautiful, the food is awesome and the hosts are amazing. Our educational tea was a highlight. I suspect my boys will be talking about our stay for some time. Thank you Frankee and Bruce it was really a pleasure. We have bragged about you and shared pictures with family and friends. Thank you for making my boys' first experience with a bed and breakfast memorable. Best Wishes, Kim, Remington and Isaac

2 Nights at the Voss Inn

Large 1st floor room w/lots of space for bags. Nice bed, but slightly softer than we prefer. Toilet separate from cleverly installed bath. A curtain encloses the shower; no grab bar. Host/server/owners are delightful, fascinating people, right on every need or wish. Breakfasts of choice from a night-before menu were excellent. Good location for us, near (a few blocks' walk) but not on Bozeman's Main Street.

Great breakfast and charming home.

Very nice inn. The owners were very accommodating for an unscheduled late arrival. The inn is well located for dining and shopping.

Rooms & Rates

Our most elegant room! The unique antique bed has a magnificent 9-foot brass headboard that canopies the bed with an antique lamp. Honeymooners especially enjoy dining in the sunny breakfast nook in the bay window overlooking the front garden. An ornate turn of the century fireplace adds to the warm, inviting ambiance of the room. Guests are encouraged to browse through the room’s private library of art and travel books at their leisure, or to simply relax in the spacious clawfoot tub and unwind from the day’s activities.

This rich burgundy and pale rose colored suite with a private sitting room adjoins the Chisholm Room, which makes these two rooms ideal for a family or friends. It is also very popular with people travelling with a child, inasmuch as the sitting room is equipped with a single hide-a-bed/love seat. The room is situated towards the back of the house, off the main street overlooking the side garden and the back yard and is furnished with an antique brass and iron bed and a drop-leaf table that conveniently opens up for in-room dining or paperwork. The extra large old fashioned porcelain tub is perfect for stretching out and having a long soak!

Robert's Roost

This charming room was originally the billiards room. In the 1920s it became a studio apartment for a young newly married couple. It is decorated in shades of deep green and white, with wicker furniture and a large ornamental turn of the century fireplace. The large walk-in closet provides plenty of room for an extended stay. This is the only room in the house with it’s own private deck off the bedroom, overlooking the back yard, which makes this one of the most popular rooms in summer and fall.

  • Maximum Capacity: 2
  • Bathroom Private Bath
  • Beds 1 Queen

Nightly Rate: $149 - $149

This charming room adjoins the Pease Room, which makes the pair ideal for a family. It is recently redecorated in shades of green and peach in a warm, cozy Victorian style. The spacious bathroom has a large old-fashioned porcelain tub which is perfect for long, relaxing baths.

  • Bathroom Private Bath
  • Beds 1 Queen

Nightly Rate: $139 - $139

This is the perfect room for a family of three. (It adjoins the Armstrong Room, so a family of 5 would be very comfortable renting both rooms.) It has vivid colors and a warm coral-colored 14-foot coved ceiling. It is furnished with an antique brass and iron bed, an ornate ornamental turn of the century hearth/fireplace and a comfortable Victorian platform rocker. The dining table opens to provide plenty of room to eat breakfast or to work. The oversized clawfoot tub invites lingering, refreshing bubble baths (bubbles provided by the Voss Inn!)

  • Maximum Capacity: 3
  • Bathroom Private Bath
  • Beds 1 Queen , 1 Twin

Nightly Rate: $159 - $159

Our only main floor room, this is part of what was originally the ballroom. This very spacious room is decorated in soft mauves and tans for a restful atmosphere. The romantic bathing area, which closes with plush curtains, is separate from the in-room water closet. The large drop-leaf table opens to provide plenty of room for in-room dining or paperwork. There is ample space for an extra bed if needed.

  • Maximum Capacity: 3
  • Bathroom Private Bath
  • Beds 1 Queen

Nightly Rate: $149 - $149
