1. While the sheets and comforter were fantastic, the bed itself was stiff and not comfortable. 2. The 7:30 am knock-on-the-door seemed odd. I know it was to deliver bread and coffee, but that would have been best served with breakfast instead of as an early wake-up call. Breakfast was at a set time (8:30 am) instead of within a window of time which does not give clients any flexibility. 3. The 10:00 AM early-morning check-out felt rushed. We had to wake up early (which seems to go against the idea of getting away for a leisurely, relaxed time) to not miss breakfast, and then pack up afterwards to check out in time. Noon seems like a much more reasonable time to be expected to leave, especially considering the cost. 4. We would have preferred breakfast brought to our room instead of being required to eat at a group table with the other couples. We love visiting with and meeting new people, but a quick, intimate get-away for an anniversary does not seem like the time for it. A leisurely, relaxing meal in our room as a couple would have been preferred. Kathy was hospitable, but the things mentioned above are why I can't give it the highest rating.

The Main Street Inn provided us a place of solace during our wedding weekend - and we even got married on the front porch! Just think of how much you would relax here if you didn't have a wedding to get through. The inn-keeper, Kathy, was so accommodating and gracious through all the hectic activity. My husband and I look forward to spending many anniversaries hanging out on the front porch, relishing in the comfortable rooms, taking a long soak in the jacuzzi, and dining on fabulous breakfasts for many years to come! Thank you Main Street Inn!

What a wonderful place to stay! The food was wonderful, the room was beautiful and relaxing, and the town of Parkville is picturesque. We couldn't have asked for a better get away. Kathy and Jason were friendly, gracious hosts and made us feel very welcome.

We stayed in the Chardonnay Room for a getaway weekend. The house is historic and the room very charming and spacious -- a nice mix of old world ambiance and brand new bath fixtures, including in-room hot tub. Great breakfast, comfortable bed, little fridge and coffee service just outside the room. Tiffany the innkeeper is welcoming, cheery and hospitable. Enjoyed it tremendously! Wines by Jennifer tasting room is 1 block away, little French restaurant only 3 blocks. Will definitely return.

Tiffany is bubbly, gracious, and goes out of her way to be accomodating to her guests. If you are in the Parkville area and need a place to stay, this place is homey and beautiful. It's definitely different from staying in a run-of-the-mill hotel.

We booked the Chardonnay room at the last minute. Our whole experience from start to finish was just what we needed and wanted. This inn made us forget we were so close to Kansas City. It was quiet and charming. Tiffany was warm and very kind. It was evident she loved what she was doing. We will definitely go again.

The innkeeper Tiffany was as delightful as her bed and breakfast. We stayed in the Pinot Noir room, which was well worth its price. The jacuzzi tub was amazing and the room is quite large.

My boyfriend got the Pinot Noir room for us for my birthday. I could not have asked for a better experience. Tiffany is a wonderful inn keeper that makes an amazing breakfast. She told us about quite a few interesting local spots that we had fun checking out. The inn was very clean and so inviting that it felt like home. I would definitely recommend this inn to any one looking for the historic small town experience.

My wife, daughter, and I have stayed at the Main Street Inn three times. Tiffany is by far the nicest, most bubbly innkeeper we have ever met. She will fix you a nutitious, scrumptious breakfast! The rooms are comfortable, quaint, and fun to stay in. Parkville, Mo is a beautiful little town with lots of neat restaurants and shops. And, Parkville is home to the beautiful, top-ranked Park University.

Classically trained as architects, you will begin to see some of our modern taste mix with the victorian flair of the inn. We love hosting, cooking, entertaining and meeting interesting people. Our family consists of our chocolate lab (Blue) and our two cats (Boobee and Oreo). Although they are 'family' they are not permitted in guest rooms or around guests unless, of course, you would like to meet them.
