My daughters brought me to The Woodland Trails B&B to celebrate my BD. It was absoulute "magical". Every detail, every touch and every corner was perfectly attended. What a wonderful place to spend our time! We will be back!

Just back from our third stay at Woodland Trails. Everything is always top notch. The property is amazing and the rooms are wonderful. Breakfasts are fantastic and usually fill us until supper time. There are tons of activities to fill the day both on and off the property. This time we took a day trip to Duluth and had a great time. Innkeepers John and Sandra are delightful and really make you feel welcome.

We had no idea what to expect from a B&B, especially one not in town but situated on the edge of the woods. And it was an wonderful experience. The house itself is stunning, offering a rare combination of privacy as well as camaraderie. Each room has it's own character, and a small private deck. The common area is warm and inviting, which reflects the personalities of the owners (John and Sandra) very well! The private little "lake" on the property is ideal for a stroll or a short canoe/paddleboat ride. Golf carts are available for drives through the woods, and John makes this even more inviting with Geo-caching and treasure hunts. And the scenic variety on these excursions through the woods even had veteran outdoors people such as us very impressed. Woodland Trails was an ideal setting for us and I can't recommend it enough. Hats off to the O'Reilly's and staff for their hospitality, their service, and the outstanding setting they've created!

We have been to Woodland Trails six (6) times and have enjoyed each and every time! Whether you choose to take a walk in the woods, stroll around or sit by the lake, or simply sit and read a good book, there is plenty to do at this wonderful north woods retreat. From start to finish, John and Sandra make you feel welcomed in this beautiful home and make this a fantastic experience! J/S

We have stayed at Woodland Trails 7 times and love it every time just as much as our first visit. It is a luxurious but very comfortable home, with attention to detail on everything. You'll find little treats in your room upon arrival as well as treats in the common areas. You'll find so many big comfy chairs to just sink into and let your cares drift away. John and Sandy are wonderful hosts, a lot of fun to talk to, and have added many promos for returning guests, that you'll find it hard to stay away. We have definitely been spoiled by this B&B!

Stay a couple nights or more! This is a wonderfully run establishment, on beautiful land. We stared at the stars from the dock with no bug issues. Beautiful. We have stayed at quite a few bed & breakfasts and this one is run very, very well. Friendly, lots of thoughtful touches. Nothing bad to say about the facility or the operation. Top notch!!

This was our first stay at Woodland Trails B&B. What a treasure and pleasure!! We have been to many B&Bs over the years and can't say enough about this one. Everything was just perfect. We will tell others and we will be back. The anniversary gift certificate was special. The night time sleigh ride on such a beautiful winter night was so much fun. Thank you so much. We have stayed at Woodland Trails at least 5 times. It has spoiled us for any other B&B! The hospitality is outstanding, the food is excellent and plentiful, and there are so many fun things to do! John and Sandra go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be. Our favorite room is the St. Croix with the enormous whirlpool bath, but all the rooms are roomy and beautifully decorated. Find your way to Woodland Trails- you'll be glad you did.

This will be our first review on BedandBreakfast.com, done by innkeeper John. Needless to say, we gave ourselves very high marks!
