Bass and Baskets is a unique waterfront inn on beautiful Lake of the Ozarks. The B&B's name and decor reflect the owners' interests in bass fishing and collecting and selling Longaberger baskets. Built in 2001 all rooms feature fireplaces, jacuzzi tubs and decks overlooking the lake. The four private guest rooms offer themed decor-from a North Woods lodge to Victorian romance. Cozy and inviting common areas are found inside and out. Enjoy your favorite book, the quiet of the night or a swim in the lake. An award winning breakfast awaits you each morning. You'll want to visit this romantic hideaway again and again!

Our room was thoughtfully put together and meticulously maintained each day. The two course breakfasts were sensational. And the fishing was good thanks to our guide. I would recommend this treasure to all my friends.

We have celebrated four anniversaries at Bass and Baskets--we just celebrated our 44th anniversary there last weekend! Ed and Deb are the perfect hosts--from Deb's delicious gourmet breakfasts and fastidious housekeeping to Ed's fun stories, we always feel at home here! The rooms are lovely and all have stunning lake views. We highly recommend Bass and Baskets to all our friends and family!

We were there just last weekend and this was our 2nd stay. It was fantastic! We were in a different themed room this time, and liked it just as well. Deb and Frank are so very personal. This is the only B & B we have stayed in and I fear that we are spoiled and will use Bass and Baskets as a comparison. It will be very hard to live up to. We will be back and send others your way too! Thank you for a lovely stay.

On the recommendation of the hosts of another favorite B&B getaway, in another location, we called Bass & Baskets for a last minute weekend trip to celebrate a major birthday. We couldn't have had a better experience. From the first conversation with Deb to the relaxed check-out schedule, we had a lovely time. We made use of the common areas for relaxing in the evening, the deck outside our room for a lovely sunset, and drooled over the spectacular breakfasts served at a leisurely time for weekend enjoyment. There really is a time of year when you can enjoy a quiet time on Lake of the Ozarks ... you just may want to leave your swim gear at home, though.

My wife and I spent New Year's Eve at Bass and Baskets. We had a wonderful time. It was clean and very welcoming. We were immediately comfortable. The view was amazing. Breakfast was delicious. Big thanks to the Franko's for a great experience. We will be going back.

We will never miss our fall trip to Ed and Deb Franko's Bass and Baskets B&B at The Lake of the Ozarks. Why? Location on the lake, beautiful rooms, breakfasts that cannot be beat, fishing with Ed, but most of all Deb and Ed make you feel at home in their outstanding B&B.
