We stayed for 3 nights with 2 other couples. It was Octoberfest, so it was busy in Hermann!. The roomies were all themed- Paris, London and Germany. Very clean and well done. Dessert was our first meal there and all 3 nights were tasty. Breakfast were a little later than we preferred, but worth the wait. The hosts were gracious and intelligently conversational. We all would stay again, just outside of Octoberfest to save a few $ and have more time at the winweries.

We stayed 2 nights in the Happy Wanderer Cottage at Abigail's Grape Leaf B&B and had a wonderful time. The cottage was roomy, wonderfully decorated and conveniently located. The breakfasts were spectacular! We enjoyed getting to know the owners and explored the beautiful town of Hermann while taking a break from biking on the Katy Trail. What a terrific experience - hope to return soon.

We were at Abigail's during the week. Our room was beautiful, very clean and very welcoming and comfortable. Laurie and Gary are a delight to visit with, if you choose, but are not intrusive in any way, if privacy and a quick breakfast are what you are looking for. The breakfasts and desserts were delicious. Laurie does a wonderful job of catering to any dietary needs you may have while keeping things tasting great and looking like they came from a magazine ad. Great people, beautiful and comfortable room, excellent food-one couldn't ask for more

This was our first trip to Hermann and we hit the jackpot when we chose to stay at Abigail's. We stayed in the Happy Wanderer Cottage and could not have been more pleased. It was roomy, comfortable, and immaculately clean. Breakfasts were SO good, especially the baguette smothered in strawberries and whipped cream with a chocolate-covered strawberry garnish. A delectable homemade treat awaited us both evenings when we returned to the cottage, the perfect end to each day. Laurie and Gary are so warm and kind. They genuinely care about their guests, and it shows in everything they do. We are looking forward to our next stay at Abigail's! Tom and Terri ~ Kansas City, MO

Abigail's Grape Leaf Bed & Breakfast is a wonderful place to stay. Our room was clean and decorated to make you feel you were at home. We had amazing treats in our room each day and a coffee maker in the room to enjoy coffee with them. Our delicious homemade breakfast was enjoyed out on the veranda with our wonderful hosts. They gave us recommendations each day of places to try based on what we wanted to do. We will be coming back to Abigail's!

I believe it was truly our lucky day when we looked online at the multitude of B&B and other properties in Hermann and stumbled upon Abigail's Grape Leaf B&B, and there was an opening for the days we needed. My husband and I decided to take a last minute romantic getaway without our son and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. The room is not just clean, it is beautiful, comfortable, functional, and beyond charming. It's right in the heart of downtown Hermann and walking distance to everything. I seriously wanted to live there! Laurie and Gary offered out-of-this-world service and dining. I'm sensitive to a lot of foods and have a strict diet, to which Laurie had no issue accommodating. I even picked up some good diet and recipe tips to take home with me. It was an absolute pure joy staying and I cannot wait to come back!

My husband & I spent an evening recently at Abigail's; it turned out to be a very relaxing, comfortable evening. The room in which we stayed was beautifully decorated in period furnishings, for the most part, and it was immaculately clean. The bed slept very comfortably, & the bathroom was roomy & had every amenity for a comfortable stay. The patio area is just lovely, with many beautiful plants and lovely furnishings. We so enjoyed the delicious breakfast, beautifully presented, and with a smile! Gary and Laurie do an outstanding job of making their guests feel welcome, and their hard work and attention to detail is very obvious. We will stay at Abigail's again!
