Perfect Stay in Hermann

5 on July 10, 2018

Laurie and Gary were great hosts serving delicious breakfasts and after dinner desserts,. Conversations and recommendations were incredibly helpful to make the most of our stay.

A little slice of heaven!

5 on July 08, 2018

What a delight! I can't recommend Abigail's highly enough. We had a quick getaway from Kansas City and it was just what the doctor ordered! Our suite was charming, adorable and pristine clean. The inn is walking distance from everything you need in town - distilleries, restaurants, antique stores, coffee shops, vineyard trolley, etc. Laurie and her husband were delightful! Our bedtime brownie was divine and our breakfast of strawberry French toast, sausage, scrambled eggs and fruit was heavenly! What a gem of a place!

Lovely B&B!

Our stay with Abigail’s Grape Leaf in the English Rose room was simply lovely! The room was very clean and meticulously decorated with the English’s arose theme. The daily desserts in the room’s mini fridge were a special treat and the breakfasts were delicious. This was our second stay at Abigail’s and we will return again—highly recommended!

This B&B was fantastic. We booked on short notice and received fantastic service. The friendly couple were amazing and offered lots of suggestions on where to go and what to do. They suggested endless summer winery and I highly recommend going there. The breakfast was very unexpected and delicious!!

Best B&B in Hermann

My husband and I stayed in the Happy Wanderer Cottage for our anniversary. The room was adorably decorated, tucked away for privacy, and so quiet. The evening and morning room service with the most delectable desserts and delicious breakfasts was absolutely amazing! We loved meeting and visiting with Laurie and Gary. They are just the sweetest people and so helpful and knowledgeable of the town. This is my new favorite place in Hermann!!!

Abigail's grape review

We spent our 29th Anniversary here in the Happy Wanderer cottage. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and made my husband feel like he was in his grandmother's house with all of the German decorations. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast and desserts were brought daily to our room on silver platters and were very delicious.

Wonderful weekend getaway!

Great Attention to Detail

Our room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We had a very nice surprise in evening desserts each night. We had our choice to eat in the room or on the patio for breakfast, since it was a comfortably warm Fall day we enjoyed the patio. I love the period decorations and meticulously clean. We had a wonderful weekend and would gladly book this B&B again.
