First Time at a B&B and we loved it

5 on July 12, 2017

The food was superb, over the top. One of the best breakfast I have had in my life. The attention to detail these two people put into their B&B is just amazing. I highly recommend anyone staying here.

Another Fantastic Stay

This was our second stay at Abigail's and it was as wonderful as the first. The rooms are very clean and well decorated. They are located in the middle of town and everything is within walking distance. The breakfast is first class and the hosts are warm and make you feel very welcome. We will be back!!!!!!!

A Little Slice of Heaven at Abigail's Grape Leaf Bed & Breakfast

4.0 on May 28, 2017

I reserved The Milliner's Bedchamber Cottage at Abigail's Grape Leaf Bed and Breakfast for a 3-night stay. It was one very spacious room with a Victorian Decor. I reserved this cottage because it had a deep claw foot soaking tub. The owner's were very welcoming and accommodating. They refreshed the room daily which is usually unheard of. A delicious dessert would be delivered each day of your stay. I would like to add that the bed was extremely comfortable and I felt refreshed after a good night's sleep. Each morning, you would be served either in your room or on the veranda, a delicious breakfast; my favorite being the french toast made from french bread with cinnamon and caramel accents. They were very helpful in recommending restaurants, wineries, and places of interest. I would highly recommend Abigail's Grape Leaf Bed & Breakfast for your next stay in Hermann, Missouri.

Great stay in central location

Abigail's was our first B&B experience, and we weren't disappointed! The room we had was the perfect size for the two of us, and we had our own private bathroom, which was a must for us. The innkeepers were super friendly and the food was an especially nice touch. Who doesn't love when food is brought straight to their room? The best part about Abigail's was the location. It is close to a lot of the action, close to the river and within walking distance of several local establishments including Hermanhoff Winery, Tin Mill Brewery, Hermann Wurst Haus and Black Walnut Bistro. We definitely made our rounds while we were in town to check everything out! A great first trip to Hermann for us, and we will be back!

Perfect getaway!

Perfect anniversary weekend

5 on November 20, 2016

My husband and I stayed at Abigail's for our 25th wedding anniversary. Everything was perfect. Laurie and Gary pay attention to detail and we enjoyed our conversations. They allowed us to check in earlier than we had previously planned which gave us more time to explore and enjoy Hermann. They gave us good recommendations for places to eat, wineries and what local attractions not to miss. A sweet treat was waiting for us each night we came home . The breakfasts were wonderful and so filling. They bring them to your room which was great. The cleanliness was top notch as well. The inn is such a great location, within walking distance to so many attractions and restaurants. You can't go wrong with staying at Abigail's. In fact my husband and I are ready to come back again next year!

As an accomplished pianist and an award winning ventriloquist she finds most of her relaxation in owning and operating Abigail's Grape Leaf Bed and Breakfast. She loves to make other people special! She incorporates her love of antiques and her husband’s talents of carpentry and antique restoration in decorating the suite to create a welcoming ambience. She orchestrates meals to please her guests so that each one feels pampered! When all of this is complete, then, it is a beautiful performance.
