Charlyne and Dennis were absolutely amazing hosts, warm and inviting, just delightful. They were very accommodating of our unusual schedule for the weekend and made sure we were comfortable with plenty of great food in our stomachs. Their home is warm and comfortable, and the hummingbirds were fun to watch.

Dennis and Charlyne were wonderful hosts and their home/ grounds are lovely. We were made comfortable from the moment we walked in. Fresh banana bread was waiting for us on arrival. Lively conversation with the hosts and other guests made the evening pass quickly. Our room was small but had everything we needed. Our bathroom was just a half bath, but a full bath was right next door. Plush bathrobes were provided for the trip to the shower. The breakfasts were delicious, especially Charlyne's Carmel Rhubarb French Toast! Just a note for your planning: all guest rooms are on the second floor of the home and there are no TVs in them. We had a great visit and would return!

Very attractive with UP NORTH ITEMS. The room was nice, but the bed very noisy and uncomfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The bike trail was just across the street. Might not try it again.

The Embracing Pines offers a great location as part of your lake, riding, or hiking adventures, the Embracing Pines B&B is the ticket. We were looking for a location near the trail, midway along the PBT and Heartland trail. This location was ideal. It also allowed for day trips to the Mississippi headwaters and Itasca park area. Dennis and Charlyne were great hosts and a wealth of information for local points of interest and history. Waking to the smell of fresh ground coffee and Charlyne's knack for baking was a real treat. The morning meals were enjoyed on the pine-covered decks along with hummingbirds. We were truly pampered by the Embracing Pines B&B. Greeted with warm cookies or banana bread in the afternoons and an offering of fresh fruit with tea and coffee at our whim.

Great accommodation – great location – excellent food – great hosts! We found Embracing Pines B&B nestled amongst great white pines with the Paul Bunyan Bike Trail just a few meters from the front door and the Kabekona River out the back door where you found canoes and a paddleboat at your disposal. We were in the area to cycle and this B&B was perfect. They had all of our cycling needs covered – indoor bike storage and even a shuttle service if required. We stayed in the Kabekona Suite which was as advertised and perfect for us. Charlyne and Dennis are the hosts and they did everything that they could to make our stay memorable. The morning starts with an event that Charlyne calls breakfast – the food was incredible. We stayed three nights and each day the breakfast was different and fabulous. We sat on the deck watching the humming birds feed while we ate – what a great way to start the day. Charlyne and Dennis guided us with recommendations for dinner as well, and each was unique and special. We would never have found these without their guidance. Not often does a B&B exceed their claims, however, this is the case for Embracing Pines B&B. We plan to go back and if you are planning to be in the area, you need to add it to your itinerary.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights recently to do some biking. The location is perfect for bikers, just across the street from the wonderful trail system and about 6-7 miles outside of Walker. And our hosts at the B&B were very attentive... the place was perfectly clean when we arrived, they greeted us with homemade banana bread, built a campfire for us at night, and the breakfasts were truly one of a kind. We would love to stay there again the next time we're in the area.
Our mission styled setting with a queen sized bed and a full bath. This room offers direct access to the four season porch, with a panoramic view of the Kabekona River and the sauna.
A romantic setting with antique queen sized bedroom set, lace curtains. It shares the original(1883) cast iron claw foot tub with shower in the room next door. Your view (in season) will be of the beautiful perennial gardens. The hummingbirds arrive in May! This room does have a half bath in the room.
Greet the morning through the large bay window in this log furnished room. You will have a view of the sunrise and the perennial gardens. This room shares the full bath next door for a bath in an original cast clawfoot tub, or shower if you prefer. This room does have a half bath in the room.
