Your Inn was just the perfect touch to our" get away to see Fall Colors" in Petoskey, Mi. In years past, there was never any room at the Inn when we tried to get reservations. But this year it being October we reserved a room.It was well worth the wait. Your establishment is very updated; clean; cheery; friendly; with a wonderfully efficient staff and superb hospitality features. The room was charming; wonderfully decorated and large by other Inn standards. The designer large cookies were the perfect touch. The library on the second floor served all our needs with beverages; comfortable chairs and sofas and wide screen tv-just like home. The lst floor was a feast of yellows to brighten any day and comfortable seating to make you feel like you were outside but actually indoors. We actually liked your Inn better than the Grand Hotel visit we had in 2012 during the same month. The dining was just right; comfortable; yet elegant with wonderfully attentive service and culinary delights. Breakfast was included with the room and exceptional. We would definitely recommend your Inn to everyone who wants to visit Petoskey. Thanks for all your efforts to bring a Victorian Era into the current century. We give you a 10. My husband and I have stayed at the Bayview on two separate occasions with a small group of friends. It is easy to overlook that the floors creak and/or are not even in some spots because of all the other positives. The rooms are all different and are all very charming in their own way. The location along the water is great for taking a walk or sitting on the porch and enjoying the view. The close proximity to town (shopping, restaurants, etc.) is perfect. Although it is a bit too long of a walk for many of us---so we had the Inn call for a shuttle which was very reasonable. I must mention the breakfast! This is the only Inn we have ever stayed at where you order your breakfast from a menu (included in the room rate). If you stay Saturday evening, the Sunday brunch is included in the room rate. And what a brunch....such a large variety of great tasting food that I can't begin to list them. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the staff. Every single one of the staff is extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. Bottom line, they all give a "family" feel to the Inn. When you add all the positives, the room rates are extremely reasonable -- a super value.

My husband and I stayed at this Inn and loved it. It is an old building but very well taken care of. The floors creak in spots and are not level, but oh so wonderful!!! The outside porch is wonderful with a view of the lake and most wonderful sunset views!!!! The inn is spotlessly clean. Breakfast is to die for---unlike any other B&B we have stayed in. You chose from a menu---you could have Eggs Benedict every day if you wanted to!! Everyone who works there seems to love what they do. They are very friendly and ever so helpful. We left a small cosmetic bag there that had some meds that I take "just in case" we need something for a headache, allergies, heartburn, etc. I got a call while we were on our way home about that and they promptly sent it to our home. I would definitely stay there again and can't wait for that!!!!
