Best inn keepers - felt like we've known them forever. Warm & welcoming. Clean & comfortable. Janet's wonderful breakfasts....accompanied by Tom's fresh squeezed OJ and stories galore! Perfect location to be able to explore so many area attractions or just sit and swing on the porch. Lots of good places to eat, wineries & breweries to drink, stores to shop or miles of country roads to drive. Seem to have a lot of repeat clients and even some locals spent the night.

I stayed at Bridgewalk for two nights this past weekend. This was my first B&B experience and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The house was clean (floors could use a good sweeping/mop but that is very minor), the rooms were nicely decorated and well furnished (lots of detail there), and the bathroom was modern. The 'community' rooms were clean, open, and quite cozy. Breakfast was delicious. I really felt like I was at home, right down to the caretaker waiting up for me when I drove back from Traverse City. The B&B is located near Traverse City, Charlevoix, Torch Lake, Petoskey, and other cities/attractions. It was well worth the money.

A friend and I stayed at this bed and breakfast for a summer getaway and had a great time! Very personable people make you feel very welcome and at home; Tom & Janet are always giving advise on where to get the best meal in town, or perfect spot on the lake. And Janet's breakfasts are exquisite! Definately worth the value and will be back next year :)

We stayed here over Labor Day weekend with some friends, and had a great time! The house is a charming turn of the century dwelling, well maintained and with quaint decor. Janet and Tom are very friendly, and the food was fantastic! We were headed to Traverse City for this trip, so although it was a little further to drive than other places, the scenery along the drive and pleasant atmosphere of the B&B made the experience well worth our while. It's also located near Bellaire, which features Short's Brewery, a nice destination for a beer lover such as myself. In all, I would certainly recommend Bridgewalk to others staying in the area.

We found this bed and breakfast while planning a Labor Day weekend trip to Traverse City for 6 people. We had stayed in a hotel last year and wanted to try something new. We had the house to ourselves which was nice even though we were only there in the mornings and at night. Tom and Janet were very nice and we probably spent at least one hour each day talking to them. The rooms were very nice. Each one was fairly large and unique. The house is a great restoration with a beautiful yard. Breakfast was great each morning. Short's brewery is about 10 miles away. It is the place to go for night life. Great beer. Great food. Live music the night we were there. The only downside was that it was a bit of a drive from the wineries, but we didn't mind. Anywhere in Traverse City gets booked quickly and they inflate their prices for the holiday. This is a great place for larger groups (6,8,10 people) since you can basically have the house to yourself.

Janet and Tom are very nice and personable Innkeepers. Their Inn is very clean and has allot of character. The breakfast recipe's were outstanding and we enjoyed our stay very much. We will return. Also, Tom is a great conversationalist. Thanks to both of you. Greg and Coni, Clarkston MI
