Charles and David are meticulous in every detail at their bed and breakfast. From their absolutely immaculate rooms, to coffee and tea available all day, home made cookies in the afternoon and anything you could need for a day at the beach. They really have thought of everything. I would absolutely stay again and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay.

My wife and I stayed at the Dragonfly for our honeymoon. This was our first time staying in a B&B and I don't know if we can ever go back to hotels. Charles and David were incredibly welcoming and amazing hosts. When we first arrived, Charles immediately offered to help us carry bags in and then gave us a tour of the Dragonfly including our room. We stayed in the Sunflower room and it was perfect. There was plenty of space in the bedroom and the bathroom was clean and quaint. Breakfast was served every day between 8 and 10 am and included a spread of fresh fruit, bagels, muffins, yogurt, granola, and a hot dish. Our hot dishes included spinach quiche, waffles, cinnamon nut bread, and more. The food was a perfect start to our mornings. Charles and David would chat with guests about things to do, places to eat, and just general conversation. They were never overbearing but just great, casual, hosts. The location of the Dragonfly is another reason I would highly recommend it. It is located between Ogunquit Beach and Perkins Cove. Both of which are about a 10 minute walk and provide plenty of things to do. We loved being able to walk almost everywhere while we were there. There is also a trolley stop right in front of the Dragonfly that will take you all over the area. If we ever were to come back to Ogunquit (which we plan to do at some point) we will be staying at the Dragonfly Guest House.

My friend and I stayed with Charles and David in the suite. First of all, it was huge and much nicer than the photos show. There were 2 large rooms, a bed room and a room with a living room and full kitchen. It was wonderful! The bed was super comfortable, with lovely linens and towels and 2 very comfy robes were provided. Everything was clean and nearly anything you could need, they've already thought of--umbrellas, beach towels, etc. Charles met us upon arrival and enthusiastically and generously provided all kinds of information about where to eat and what to do and how to get there. The guest house is located equidistant to the two main areas of interest, Perkins Cove and Downtown. So it's very easy to leave your car in their parking lot and walk everywhere. It's a quick walk to the beach as well. The breakfasts were extensive and lovely with multiple options, all delicious. And Charles was so thoughtful, that when he heard I had had difficultly sleeping (not due to the room or bed), he brought me some lemon balm tea, which he finds helpful for sleeping well. These men couldn't have been more thoughtful or welcoming. The only advisory I might note is that the car traffic/noise on the street is notable and our suite was on the ground floor facing the road. I'm sure some other rooms upstairs and at the back of the house are quieter.

It was a wonderful experience. The Dragonfly is warm and inviting, as are Charles and David. They wanted to get to know you and shared their lives with us. Breakfast was amazing . All fresh and homemade. We would highly recommend the Dragonfly to anyone. Peggy and Jerry P.

A perfect getaway. We spent four nights here and everything was perfect. Our hosts, Charles and David, made everyone feel welcome and we had great conversations over their delicious breakfasts. Beautiful gardens, decks and the warm inviting common areas exceeded our expectations. Thoughtful touches, like freshly baked cookies and teas and coffee in the afternoon and evening, were appreciated. Try and book a massage with David. And enjoy your stay. Everything about our stay was wonderful, from the lovely room to the delicious breakfasts (including gourmet homemade granola and an exquisite frittata) to the friendly morning chats. Charles, David, and Cooper were superb hosts, adding to the already beautiful experience of Ogunquit. The cookies at the end of the day were deliciously memorable. The location of the b&b was perfectly convenient as well. We highly recommend the Dragonfly to anyone who is planning a visit to Ogunquit.

I stayed at the Dragonfly for the first time in June and enjoyed my stay so much that when I decided to return to Ogunquit for a September visit, I gave no other thought to where I would stay except at the Dragonfly. David and Charles are wonderful hosts. The location is convenient to both Ogunquit and Perkins Cove and walking the Marginal Way puts you at an equidistance at either end from the Dragonfly. The breakfasts are wonderful as are the afternoon cookie offerings. A sign that you are completely welcome at the Dragonfly is when Cooper, the inn's canine king accepts you as his friend!

We have been visiting the Maine coast since 1972, and Thanksgiving weekend was one of our best stays ever! David and Charles have that magic -not intrusive but genuinely interested in making sure things are going well. Breakfast was devine! We brought our pooch and he settled into Cooper's Room like he belonged there. Thanks David and Charles. Until next time.......

Your hosts, Charles and David welcome you into their home. Ogunquit has always been a special place for us. We met while we were both vacationing here. In 2012 we decided to make Ogunquit our permanent home and begin the next chapter of our lives as Innkeepers. Over the years, we have fallen in love with the town’s beauty and charm, its pristine beach, the quaintness of Perkins Cove, its many wonderful restaurants and the welcoming nature of the community here.
Hot breakfast entree changes daily!
Charles loves to surprise our guests with a different hot breakfast entree. Entrees range from mini-quiches, pumpkin pancakes, scones, waffles, egg strata. We also offer fresh fruit, David's homemade granola, yogurt, juices, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, hot apple cider, bagels & assortment of Stonewall Kitchen jams/jellies.
