A nice stay

4.4 on August 13, 2015

Quiet street, clean rooms. Bob, the proprietor, was very nice and accommodating. We had the room on the top floor, bedroom separate from bathroom. Someone complained about that, but really not an issue. No one else is on the floor. I liked the room and would stay there again. Breakfast was good; fruit bowl, pancakes (I don't think it was real maple syrup, come on you are in Maine, give me the real stuff), followed by bacon and eggs of your choice (expertly done!). My biggest concern was a single seating at 9:00(coffee available at 7:30), I would have liked to get an earlier start.

Bob was an exceptional host

Chetwynd B & B was conveniently located in downtown. We were able to easily walk to the shops without worrying about parking. Bob was quite knowledgable and very amiable. The room was spotless and breakfast was amazing!

Nice romantic getaway

Great location right next to downtown, but on a quiet street.

Kennebunkports first Bed and Breakfast!

Bob was an amazing inn keeper and very personable and approchable. Being the originial bed and breakfast in Kennebunkport made it that much more enjoyable. I would and will stay there again. Everything was walking distance, so we parked our car and enjoyed the great places to eat and drink without having to drive. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Great value. Not to mention this was the first time I ever stayed at a Bed and Breakfast. So, needless to say was a great first impression for all Bed and Breakfast

Location, location, location !!!Had a wonderful stay. Bob was very accomodating and so helpful with dining ideas. Breakfast was great, service was great and couldn't ask for more. Have stayed at many B&B's around the country, this was one of the best !

Simply wonderful

This B&B is easily one of the nicest I've stayed in, and I've certainly stayed in my share. The rooms are gorgeous, the hosts were always friendly and helpful, the location is second to none, and the breakfast is to die for! I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

1st New England trip

4.2 on July 19, 2007

What a great way to start my trip. Bob and Fran were so friendly and took the time to talk to me about the area and other interests. The location is amazing--off the main street so it was quiet, but basically right next to Dock Square. I walked everywhere in town and appreciated the ease of seeing things on foot when so much of what I did was drive to other places. The breakfasts were delightful, well presented and delicious. My room was large and comfortable. The only reason I marked it down was because the bathroom was small and oddly positioned. I think that it was sometimes used in combination with another room/suite so that was why it was where it was. Otherwise I would definitely recommend the Chetwynd House Inn for a lovely vacation spot!
