We loved the quaint bar, enclosed glass dining porch were all excellent. Rooms are typical 1830s but updated nicely ... such as shower. Breakfast was more like a continental with good service.
Our first stay in a B&B and it was perfect! Nick and Shirley are warm and welcoming hosts and excellent at what they do. The breakfast was delicious and the hospitality was unbeatable. We are definitely staying here again. Why would we ever stay in a hotel again? -Tim and Tara
Our stay in this beautiful historic home on the water was rendered truly memorable and exquisite by the warmth and generosity of our host and by the truly superb cuisine.
Excellent review! Sandy Baum Womelsdorf, Pa
My husband and I stayed 3 nights and had a lovely, relaxing weekend. We ate dinner at the restaurant on the first night and enjoyed our meals. The breakfasts were delicious and presented attractively. The rooms were comfortable and the sunset view over the river was a beautiful sight.. The innkeeper was friendly and informative about the area.
This was our second stay at this charming Inn with a great scenic view. The rooms are warm and cozy and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Larry the owner is an excellent host and his staff are as well. Don't miss the incredible breakfast and the dinner menu is superb. Thanks to Larry and his staff for another wonderful stay. Sincerely Bob and Nancy Riley

-I decided to book here for my 1 year anniversary. Let me just say first off, Larry the inn-keeper was very attentive to me. I emailed him and he responded every time with-in 24 hours. I was thrilled with how much he cared. -The breakfast was delicious. -The rooms were beautiful (and my wife and I stayed in 2 rooms while we were there. completely planned to do it like that) but the rooms were wonderful. Loved how they all had their own bathrooms instead of a communal bathroom. That was a mega plus. -The B&B had a beautiful lake view where there was a dockside bar and even a sunset bar lounge (in door and outdoor) which was just the best of both worlds. -This is a fantastic B&B, my wife and I both had an awesome weekend! Loved every minute of it.
We were meeting a friend down that way for dinner and decided it would be nice to stay overnight somewhere close and found the Inn at Sugar Hill had a room available. From the minute we walked in we felt welcome. Next time we want to come and stay and have dinner since the smell for the kitchen was amazing. And we will surly be back.
