My stay at Proctor Mansion Inn was one night during a trip up the New England area where I stayed at 3 different B&Bs. This one had the friendliest Inn keeper, who gave my wife and I a full tour and history of the house which was quite interesting, especially with the underground railroad history. I was a bit disappointed in the breakfast, but in hindsight of the other B&B's I stayed at, it was not bad. I would've liked something a bit more unique, but it was not bad and quite well presented and delivered. I'd stay here again.
Thank you very much for your review! We really enjoyed meeting and serving you. We are always looking for ways to improve our B&B; you mentioned wanting a more "unique" breakfast. Please let us know what you feel that would include. We will do our utmost to incorporate it into our breakfast menu. Again, thank you for staying with us, and for writing a very nice review!

We enjoyed our recent stay at the inn. It has lovely rooms and a good location for sightseeing in that region - close to the Cape, Newport RI mansions, Wrentham outlets... The hospitality of the staff was very good. Felt a little uncomfortable that we could not lock our room during the day when we were out... Breakfast is served in a beautifully restored Victorian dining room where the service is friendly, but a bit awkward. Food is 'ok', but not anything special. The owners and staff have many future plans for the inn's restoration and expansion of service offerings. Parking is a bit awkward with the current lay out...
Thank you very much for your review! Your concerns about locking your guest room from the outside is valid. We will be installing locks on every door in the immediate future. Thank you again for staying with us, we enjoyed meeting and serving you!

My wife and I needed a place to stay for one night as we were dropping off our son at boarding school. Originally we were planning to stay downtown but couldn't find a room since every hotel was sold out due to the Patriots opening game. Fortunately we found the Proctor Mansion Inn through bedandbreakfast.com which turned out to be a perfect accommodation and was only 1/2 hour from campus. Deri handled the reservation communications in a timely manner and with the appropriate amount of detail. The breakfast she prepared really hit the spot. Brian (the owner) made a point to stop by our table during breakfast and spent about 30-minutes telling us fascinating stories about the property and its history. The Proctor Mansion Inn has so much character. We stayed in the Gold Room, which I later found out was the Master Suite for Mr. Proctor back when he lived there. We met a very nice couple who were also impressed with the property. I really respect how much passion Brian has for this place. You can tell that it's his life's mission and that he's dedicated to making the guest experience as positive as it can be. We will travel from Philadelphia to New England many times in the coming years and plan to stay here again. Two thumbs up and many thanks.

Wow! The Proctor Mansion is an amazing place. The owners are lovingly restoring this gem of a property to its original grandeur, located right in the heart of the town. The innkeeper was very helpful. The breakfast was great. Can't wait to return!

My daughter and I went away for a shopping weekend at the Wrentham Outlets... and stayed over at the Proctor Mansion Inn. All we can say is it is a spectacular place with incredible personable service. Comfortable beds, quiet/private quarters and a delicious pampered breakfast feast each morning. Will come back and stay again and again. Rest and relaxation ... with major pampering!!! Great local shopping as well. Hope you stay and get a chance to experience what we had...
