This place is very nice however it is on the main road. It looks like its in the middle of nowhere on the pics so it was actually a surprise. The service was great and the unit was fine. The bed was not very comfortable and the pillows were foam not feather. With some more comfortable furniture it would be perfect.

As we have no guest room in our house, Country Garden is the Home of choice for our children. They have been staying here for several years, and are beautifully taken care of, summer and winter. Thank you, Richard and Suzanne

What a great place to stay! I've worked at the Fair for many years & always end up at your run of the mill, overpriced hotels in the area. For the first time I was able to score a room --- many times it's sold out --- and now I know why. The owners are very accommodating and take great care of this place. Loved my room....fireplace on a cold, rainy weekend.....yes!! Bathroom was huge & a comfy bed to boot. I have raved about Country Garden Inn since staying & will be back soon. Already making plans for a weekend with my husband. Unfortunately, long hours at the Fair didn't allow me to enjoy breakfast but next time I'm in. ---- thank you for everything! --- Lisa

This was a beautiful little inn. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the hot-tub too. The staff was super friendly and I would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

We stayed in one of the less expensive rooms and it was minimal. But we slept well; it was quiet and the window a/c was effective. The desk person in the evening was helpful and in the morning, we had some special history/genealogical questions and the desk clerk was VERY helpful. Nice attitudes!
Thank you for your review but question why such a low score? Very disappointing as we thought we gave excellent service, as you mentioned and work extremely hard to give our guests a great experience. You did choose one of our least expensive rooms and we maintain these rooms to be budget friendly. We do have rooms and suites in our other 6 buildings which feature between 400 and 700 SF. with fireplaces and jacuzzis.

Room was very nice with updated furniture & bathroom. However, the bed was way too soft. Sore backs the next day. Pool was small but adequate. Hot tub was enclosed in sort of a screen room but did not have any lighting, making if tough to operate at night and it had a lot of chlorine! Too much! I had to get out after just 5 minutes because my throat & nostrils were burning! Property is very cute and peaceful with plenty of space.
Thank you for your review however, if you had mentioned that the bed was too soft, we could have accommodated you with one of our other 23 rooms/suites. As far as the hot tub is concerned, lighting is on either side of the walkway to the hot tub and all around the pool/hot tub area and MOST guests enjoy the peace and quiet also, there are a total of 7 sliding windows that can be opened as well as the sliding door to access the hot tub. So sorry that you did not bring any of this to our attention at the time of your visit!!!!! We work very hard to make sure ALL our guests have a great experience.
