within easy walking distance to the best restaurants, shops, and night life, but quiet and peaceful at night. Immaculate inside, idyllic outside, and filled with interesting guests and delightful hosts. Patrick and John Jay got us the best tables at the best restaurants and cooked the best breakfasts (with lots of Weight Watchers options.) Try to read Thoreau's account of his walk from Eastham to Provincetown, so you can appreciate the contrast between then and now.

Loved everything about this B&B: the owners, the location, the room, the breakfast. Highly recommended!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay over New Year's weekend at the Inn at Cook Street in Provincetown. Everything about the place is first class--from the room to the common area--to the staff. The biggest and most pleasant surprise was the outstanding breakfast prepared by Andrew. We have been on the Cape for 30 years and didn't think there was anything new to discover, but this past weekend proved us wrong.

I can honestly say that my stay at the Inn at Cook Street was one of the nicest and most memorable experiences of my life. You see, I was married there this past October right in the beautiful garden in back of the inn. I had an intimate ceremony (16 people in total) and there was more than enough room. It felt personal, unique, and laid back. Exactly what I envisioned! Of course this was all made possible with the help of the innkeepers, Patrick and John Jay. To say that they go above and beyond to both accommodate and make you feel welcome, would be an understatement. They are extremely helpful in suggesting restaurants, things to do, vendors etc. I would STRONGLY advise you to take advantage of their recommendations. They will not steer you wrong. I could go on and on, but I think this sums it up pretty well…my husband and I had the time of our lives and it wouldn’t have been possible without Patrick, John Jay, and Andrew (the chef who makes delicious breakfasts and treats daily for guests). I truly can not thank the 3 of them enough! We will stay at the very charming and serene, Inn at Cook Street every year from now on for our anniversary.

We consider the Inn at Cook Street one of the best inns that we have stayed. It is elegant without being ostentatious. The owners, Patrick and John, are wonderful hosts. Chef Andrew prepares the best breakfasts. We highly recommend this inn. Sincerely, Bonnie Brewer and Jeff Carlson

Had a very pleasant stay. Room was lovely and a bonus to be able to sit on the deck. Breakfast was unusual but delicious. Excellent hosts. Would definitely recommend the Inn.

We stayed two nights at the Inn at Cook Street and had a very enjoyable time. The Inn itself is a well maintained and attractive building. Our room was on the second floor and was very comfortable. Outside on the second floor are two decks with relaxing deck furniture which we were able to enjoy. The back yard is quick nice with plenty of seating there as well. Breakfast is served on the first floor which as a living area and a dining room. The chef prepared unique and tasty breakfasts for us. Patrick and Jon are very good hosts and made sure we enjoyed our stay. I would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at Inn at Cook Street. Most everything is within walking distance from it. The Innkeepers, Patrick and John are gracious hosts. They helped with recommendations on where to eat and sights to be taken in as well as great conversation on the history of the Inn. The delicious Morning breakfasts that Andrew prepares are second to none and he even makes up goodies to snack on in the afternoon and evening. The housekeeping staff keep the rooms impeccably clean and neat and the grounds of the Inn are beautiful. We highly recommend Inn at Cook Street and look forward to staying there again. L and B
