The room was very hot. They give you a remote for control, but it doesn’t do anything. There is no privacy from the door to the deck in front. The room was comfortable and the meals were great.

The Randle room was excessively hot. A remote control for a thermostat was provided, but ineffective. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly.

My wife and I like to stop off and stay in Chesapeake City on our way home to upstate NY from visiting our family in Baltimore. It’s an incredibly charming town with nice shops, great restaurants, and friendly people. We decided to stay at the Blue Max Inn this time and we are so glad we did. The Inn am extension of this charming town, decorated beautifully for the holidays, the room was beautiful and the breakfast was great. The staff was friendly and the service was top notch. The Innkeeper spent time with us and clearly loves her job and it shows. This is a great value and we will certainly come back again.

My husband and I stayed in the Hunter Room, which was wonderful. Access to the balcony was great. Breakfasts were delicious, and Christine, the Innkeeper, was very nice. We really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely be back. Great place in Chesapeake City within walking distance of everything.

My wife and I travelled from Sydney Australia to attend a friends wedding and we were fortunate enough to stay at The Blue Max, Christine and her amazing staff looked after us like we were royalty, from guidance to attractions around the town to best restaurants nothing was forgotten, our room was clean and exceptionally presented, as were all the amenities.

I felt it was a trip back in time being surrounded by the beautiful antiques. The place was beautiful. The rooms were spacious. I loved having breakfast in the porch. The host was very nice and was very attentive to our needs. Will definitely return and stay at the Blue Max. Location was very close to the shops and the waterfront.

We had a lovely time at the Blue Max Inn in historic Chesapeake City. Christine is a welcoming inn keeper who made sure we were well taken care of. We stayed in the spacious Lindsey room and enjoyed delicious breakfasts, as well as afternoon tea and cookies. The inn and its grounds are beautiful located perfectly to walk to nearby attractions. We had a great stay and hope to return soon.
