Named one of the top 12 standout places to stay in Maine "right now" by Downeast magazine, the Trellis House is an oasis in the middle of a bustling beach community. Located on a quiet side street midway between Ogunquit village and Perkins cove. A short walk in any direction will take you to all that is special in Ogunquit. If you're not in the mood to walk, the trolley stops at the end of our street just steps away. In the afternoon, after a day of exploring, enjoy a cool drink on our large wraparound porch. The Trellis House has over a dozen flower gardens to please the eyes and enhance a truly relaxing atmosphere.

My boyfriend and I stayed for 2 nights during Ogunquit Fest. The Arbor Room was beautiful, and we loved the hammock swing outside our door. The happy hour was great, and the pizza swirls were fantastic!!! Abby and Robin we’re extremely attentive and friendly. Also, the “really good” bacon we had for breakfast was really freaking good!!!!

We had a great time. Everything was perfect from the property, breakfast, service to the Glen and Laurence. They were helpful with everything we needed including local information.

We returned to The Trellis House because our fist visit, last year, was exceptional! We wanted a quiet few days to drive around, enjoy the scenery, eat out and relax. Oh, and we wanted to visit with Bentley. This lovely dog has such a calming influence. He loves everyone and assumes that everyone loves him, too. AND.....they do :-) The B & B is immaculate, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Laurence and Glen couldn't possibly be better hosts. The breakfasts are the best that we've had anywhere, and we always stay at B & Bs. We always meet interesting people when we stay and enjoy talking to folks from different parts of the country. We will definitely be back again soon!

The relatively (over 2 years now) owners / innkeepers at the Trellis House, Laurence & Glen, are the perfect hosts, the very hearts & souls of good cheer, and continue to outdo themselves on every count. The Trellis House is, of course, wonderfully well situated on a quiet side street in the middle of Ogunquit town, and within easy walking distance of everything: shops, restaurants, the beach, etc, etc. You can, for the most part, park your car and forget it. Our favorite rooms are either the York or Ogunquit suites, in the main house. Both are quite huge, lovely & bright. Scrumptious, elaborate breakfasts are provided on a daily basis. Also a tasty good night snack is brought to your room every evening. There is a lovely porch and lovely gardens too, in which to just relax in an easy chair. We've been coming to the Trellis for at least 17 years now. We hope to be coming back for at least another 17 years.

The best bed and breakfast inn by far. Wonderful accommodations, personally cooked gourmet breakfasts, specially fir baked desserts left for guests in their rooms each night. And the owners personally oversee and cook it all daily!! Don't miss this one if have the opportunity to stay in Ogunquit.
