We stayed for two night in one of the cottages. The owner/operator was so nice! (Clarification: This site MADE me leave a rating for onsite dining...which they don't have. It wasn't "unsatisfactory" but n/a.) The rooms were clean & the beds were decent. The one criticism: They only have a tiny shower stall with a nonadjustable (as far as where it sprays) shower head. It was impossible to shower without getting your hair wet and shorter people/kids might have the spray directly on their face or over their heads. (Also, no blow dryer that I found so bring one!)

We stayed just before the summer season began. The owner was friendly, the cottage was cozy, comfortable and clean. It was a great starting point for our daily forays into Green Gables area (which we enjoyed a lot). It is a beautiful area, lots of green farmlands, very near the shore. Owner gave great advice for places to see, eat, and see sunset. Loved this place and would stay there again!

Very clean (always my top priority), nice firm beds, lots of space, homey feel with gardens and a small playground. Kitchen (on-site dining) was above our needs. Picturesque walk to the beach. Staff was very friendly. We all left very relaxed.

My husband & I were celebrating our anniversary with a weekend away to Kennebunk. I hadn't been in a while so I wasn't exactly sure where to stay. Shorelands was the best value I could find online, and I had searched for days....most of the hotels/inns/b&b's in Kennebunkport were $300-500 a night! granted it was Labor Day weekend, but still that's outrageous. I was a little nervous because some of the reviews I had seen online, mostly from 2012. We checked in with ease with the owner, I'm guessing and she was extremely pleasant and low key. We had our own parking space. Our room which was a "jacuzzi room", it had a huge bath tub with jets, at first I wasn't sure if I really wanted to use it but it was spotless, actually gleaming that I had to! Pure bliss. The pool is on the smaller side but decent with a few lounge chairs around it, the hot tub is amazing! The water was perfectly hot! About a 10 min walk to the beach, a little longer than I would like but its great because on your way to the beach you walk by a horse farm. Its like country then the beach....I had never seen that before, it was pretty cool. The beach itself was pretty quiet, almost seemed like it was private. They supplied bath towels and did come take our trash daily. To get downtown Kennebunkport, its too far to walk but an easy 5 minute drive. Overall one of the best long weekend trips I have had in a long time. I would recommend this place to any one. There were some couples and a few families, everyone seemed to be having a great time, not too noisy either. Plenty of space to cookout and grill with a few picnic tables and a fire pit. They also had a jungle gym for the kids that looked newer.

We had a nice stay. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. My husband raved about the beds! The mattress was the best he has ever slept on while we are away.

A typical beach cottage, bed was comfortable, a ceiling fan in the bedroom while there was an air conditioner in the dinning room/kitchen area. The only thing I found that was disheartening was the entrance door to the cottage. It was not very secure, any one if they wanted to could kick the door in; only a door knob lock was available, no bolt lock above. I ended up using the back of a kitchen chair to give me the feeling that I would be more secure.

Room was quaint, had everything we needed for a comfortable, back to nature stay! Very close to the beach! Only complaint is that it isn't really a "Bed and Breakfast"- didn't really serve breakfast.
Thank you so much for giving us this feed back. We really appreciate your time for this. I can try to make it a little clearer what we do offer in the mornings. Our moderate rates also reflect the lesser breakfast offerings, which do include fuit and yoghurts as well as the muffins. Thanks again and please do come back..

Cottage was as expected from online website. Great location, close to private large beach, Shopping and restaurants. Very clean cottage and friendly staff. Muffins and Coffee were available daily. Pool, hot tub, basketball, Ping pong, kids swing set and bikes were all kept up Nice. Would stay here again and recommend to others.

I recently stayed here for a long weekend and i was very pleased! Compared to other cottages in the area, this property was eye appealing, boasting beautiful flowers and trees! The staff was friendly and the rooms were exceptionally clean! They have a nice swimming pool, hot tub, fire pit, and other amenities. What we loved most was that it is just about a half mile walk (the street has a beautiful view of a horse pasture and marshes) from the best beach in the area, parsons Beach! Also a quick drive to the main street with plenty of shops and resturants!

We stayed here because it was among the cheapest places we saw to stay in Maine. It was awesome! This is not a place for anyone looking for a Hilton-esque vacation. But it was super fun for us (20-somethings on a budget). We went to the grocery store nearby and bought dinner supplies. We grilled out on one of several of the gas grills. They had a stove, microwave, even a toaster. The rooms were clean and pretty spacious. The bathroom was very tiny though. Not a problem for us, but could be an issue for bigger people. The room was ideal for a couple, or maybe for a family with small children. It would be a tad crowded for 4 adults. All-in-all, we'd definitely stay there again. Highly recommend it.
Bedroom with 2 double or 1/2 queen beds, best avail. Living area with Queen sleeper couch and Kitchen area, or 1 or 2 twin beds. Could also substitute small 2nd floor Motel Suite with 1 queen bed and sleeper couch in sittingrm/kitchen. Suites have tub/shower, cottages mostly showers only.
