The perfect place to spend a weekend in the Casco Bay

5 on August 10, 2018

This was the perfect place to spend a weekend in the Casco Bay. The bed and breakfast is quaint and charming, as is Freeport, which is also conveniently located only 20 minutes from Portland and a short ride away from nature trails, kayaking, hiking, biking, and more. Our room was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was wonderful. Kelleigh and Dave were also extraordinarily kind, friendly, and hospitable, and also gave very helpful suggestions for places to go and things to do. We had a wonderful stay and certainly know where to return for our next trip back.

Innkeeper Response
We couldn't agree more!...about proximity to Portland plus all the natural wonder to enjoy in our backyard-- glad our suggestions proved valuable. So pleased you found your stay enjoyable and the breakfast memorable. We hope you have reason to return very soon and would be honored to once again be your host. thank you for these kind words and for your time to share them with your fellow travelers. Warmly, k&d

Great stay!

4.6 on August 06, 2018

Stayed here in July. We have been to Freeport a few times but have usually stayed at the Hilton. Lucky for us it was booked. The Brewster B & B was fantastic! Dave and Kelleigh are extremely nice and Dave is a fantastic cook...the breakfasts were amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

Innkeeper Response
Hilton's loss was our GAIN! We hope that this will be the first of many stays with us and happy to hear you enjoyed your breakast-- perhaps a visit over the winter/early spring to enjoy a cooking class with us. Thank you again. We are sincerely grateful.

Hope to return!

5 on July 19, 2018

We felt at home the minute we arrived at the Brewster House. Kelleigh greeted us warmly with homemade cookies (by Dave) and a tour to include recommendations of what to do in the area. It only got better! The 3 course breakfasts were unbelievable! They were beautifully prepared by Dave and presented by Kelleigh. The dining room was a perfect space to enjoy our breakfast while visiting with other guests along with Dave and Kelleigh. The Brewster House is comfortable and conveniently located. We definitely hope to stay again and would highly recommend!

Innkeeper Response
What a tremendous compliment, THANK YOU!. Knowing that our guests feel at home and welcome is beyond gratifying. Dave works very hard to make your breakfast enjoyable...I'll pass along the compliment and well, thanks for the 'nod' to my presentation skills..hehehe. We, too, hope you have reason to return and will give us another opportunity to host you. thank you! k

My wife and I stayed 2 nights and enjoyed our hosts an especially the quiet location, but certainly walking distance to all outlet shops. Breakfast each morning was unsurpassed. Definitely gourmet! I guarantee you’ll enjoy your stay!

Delicious weekend

4.2 on June 03, 2018

My friend and I stayed at the Brewster House Bed & Breakfast for a girls' weekend in Maine. The place was classic and beautiful - located right near the heart of Freeport and not far from several beautiful hikes and the Maine coast. Kelleigh and Dave were friendly and helpful hosts. One of our favorite parts of the stay was the absolutely scrumptious and impressive 3-course gourmet breakfasts. Wow. The dishes were amazing AND they were also able to accommodate our food allergies/intolerances/preferences. If you are looking for a delicious start to your days, this is the place to stay :-).

Innkeeper Response
"scrumptious & impressive"-- music to our ears. Thank you. So pleased you agree that Freeport is ideal for that weekend girls escape with so much to offer- both indoors & out. And, of course, so delighted you chose our home to make the most of it. Glad enjoyed your breakfast- Dave prides himself in making delicious foods and works very hard to craft options that meet specific diets. Thank you for the kind review, please come back very soon.

Great get-away!

We were welcomed with fresh baked cookies, our hosts were most gracious, and spent time visiting. Husband enjoyed the beer on tap and our breakfast was outstanding. It’s on our favorite to stay places.

The rooms were clean, the hosts were wonderful and the food was awesome. Very nice to come back from shopping and smell the 2 different homemade cookies available. Twist and Stout

5 on February 20, 2018

I attended Twist and Stout at Brewster House B & B as part of the Flavors of Freeport 2018 and had a fabulous time. Kelleigh and Dave was a lot of fun while making soft pretzels and sharing a beverage. They welcomed everyone as if they knew us for a long time and gave a hug when we left. The house was warm and beautifully decorated. Definitely would attend their B and B again and encourage you as well.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you very much for your time to share your experience with others and your kind words. We are so pleased you enjoyed our class and we hope this means you might return soon to enjoy another...Pizza perhaps? It was our sincere pleasure to host you and grateful that we were your choice among the many here in Freeport. Please come back soon. cheers, k&d

Best B&B !

5 on January 01, 2018

We stayed at the Brewster House for 2 nights on the 15th and 16th of December of 2017 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The Inn is immaculate and quaint! The breakfasts are to die for (although too much food for me :-) ). Kelleigh Dulany, one of the Innkeepers, is a very delightful person who interacts with her guests very well! The whole experience being in the Freeport area right before Christmas was phenomenal, and was made even better talking to Kelleigh about Freeport and what was going on that weekend! We highly recommend staying a few days here!! Bob & Gwynne

Innkeeper Response
Dear Bob & Gwynne. My apologies for my delayed response. This means so very much to me and I'm beyond delighted that you recommend staying with us for a few days. I, too, enjoyed our chats and hope I have the pleasure of more very soon. Perhaps we will be lucky enough to consider your visit an annual event?!?!. With our sincere thanks, kel & dave
