great value

Needed a temporary lodging for my mom. Morgot got me free breakfast every time I came over to visit my mom, and it was much better than continental breakfast in most hotels. The place is well maintained. Toiletries are high quality. Margot also offered to help find an apt for my mom who's wasn't familiar with the area. Great place to stay overall.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for your review. It was my pleasure in helping to assist finding potential long term housing for your Mom since I am also a real estate broker. I have lived in Wellesley for over 30 years and know the surrounding communities well. It was a joy to serve you breakfast along with your Mom when you stopped by to visit her. Thank you for choosing Wellesley Bed and Breakfast.

Hostess even more delightful than property

5 on August 30, 2018

The location is lovely and convenient: sophisticated suburb of Boston and walking distance to food, etc. The hostess goes over the top to exceed traveler's expectations. Not only are the rooms immaculate but the outdoor gardens and indoor flowers are exquisite. Breakfast is out of the ordinary. You will want to come back just to have a afternoon tea with the hardworking owner.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for your kind words. It was delightful to meet you! I am glad you enjoyed my garden flowers! I am looking forward to hosting you again in the future!

Communication with the owner on the day of arrival was difficult. She was off site. 2 abandoned vehicles were parked in the driveway. The owner entered the room with a key and left a rude note on the bed, while I was out walking. Breakfast (not so hot) was served on a desk in the small bedroom..There wasn't a dining room on the first floor. The photos are misleading.. The room and hall was too crowded with furniture and excess stuff.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for the feedback. Perhaps you forgot - to call 48 hours before checking in so that I could review parking instructions and meet and greet you personally at the front door. Unfortunately my schedule can not accommodate 24/7 door service - by appointment or in the event of a detained plane - I am happy to provide self check-in details. I am sorry that I hurt your feelings and do not know what kind of note you found. Maybe I requested that you park your vehicle at an angle so all other arriving guests could do likewise - which allows for every car to have easy access - in and out of the driveway. I am not aware of any abandoned blbehicles anywhere in my driveway nor in the town of Wellesley. Wellesley is one of the top 17 communities in the nation. The individual rooms all feature a mini refrigerator, a microwave and coffee machine. The hallway offers a tea collection, a Brita water filter, a sugar collection including alternative sugars and honey. Some guests rave about the room service because each room offers use of bath robes and sometimes a guest prefers privacy because it’s more relaxing to enjoy room service. Each guest designates the time that they would like breakfast. Breakfast offering is continental - mostly organic ingredients - and if you prefer differently, there are many restaurants/bakeries within walking distance. I always ask every guest if there are any food allergies I should be aware of and welcome special needs. I invite guests to call or text me anytime with questions/concerns so that I have the opportunity to enhance their visit to Wellesley. My business thrives on returning guests and hosting guests from around the world is a pleasure and brings me joy.

A unique find

Clean, comfortable & convenient! Reasonably priced with gracious hospitality-an innkeeper that caters to her guests. For example Innkeeper made a special trip to the store for premium orange juice. A great alternative to the branded hotels nearby.

Innkeeper Response
It was a pleasure to host you. It brings me joy to accommodate special requests. Thank you for letting me know your juice preferences. I hope to host you for your next reunion event!

Great location and amazing customization.

We had a wonderful stay at the Wellesley Bed and Breakfast. It is located right across the street from a beautiful trail which was perfect for my morning run. Margot also made us a healthy breakfast with low carbs at my request. She even gave us a personal tour of Wellesley College's private lake. I would highly recommend staying there.

Innkeeper Response
I am thrilled that you enjoyed my favorite scenic trail around Lake Waban. It’s always fun to make a suggestion that works well with your interests. I am glad you appreciated the breakfast modified to your liking. Thanks so much for sharing your food preferences in advance. I am glad to serve special requests. Please come again soon!

I enjoy reading about which various foods help repair the body. For example, Noni Juice found in tropical islands. Known as a cure all in Hawaii.
