The Sandpiper offers the two-room "Fountain Suite" with its own private entrance in an architect-designed home nestled against a dune with views of Cape Cod Bay. The suite has a full bath, powder room, bedroom and parlor room with a single sleigh bed and pullout sofa. Both rooms of the suite open onto a meditation garden that is embraced by pines, heather, sweet fern, Lilly of the Valley and Japanese cherry. The garden's focal point is a floating-sphere fountain cast by a Wellfleet sculptor. There are tiered decks that overlook three cascading ponds -- which are home to dozens of exotic fish. The Sandpiper is a meditative, Zen-like environment that, unlike typical inns, is in itself a work of art. You will enjoy home-cooked buffet breakfasts on a centuries-old Chinese dining table, in the company of numerous Inuit sculptures. Walls are adorned with paintings by renowned Provincetown artists. The three cascading ponds are linked by waterfalls and are home to dozens of exotic fish. A five-minute walk takes you to our private Cape Cod Bay beach and a beautifully maintained community tennis court. Coolers, beach chairs and towels are supplied. The Sandpiper is the perfect find for discriminating seekers of a bed-and-breakfast experience that's beyond the ordinary.
A private entry, a full bath with shower and a separate powder room. The bedroom is furnished with a classic, fruitwood Queen bed and mirrored dresser, while the parlor room of the suite has a pullout sofa and a twin sleigh bed. The suite opens onto a secluded meditation garden enclosed in a bower of pines, heather, sweet fern, Lilly of the Valley and flowering Japanese cherry. The focal point of the meditation garden is a floating-sphere fountain custom-cast in concrete.
