SIMPLE ELEGANCE describes our 1850s Greek revival home, thoughtfully restored to provide year round accommodations and an exceptional bed and breakfast experience. We are conveniently located in the quintessential New England seaside village of Rockport, surrounded by spectacular ocean views. We are a few minutes walk to Sandy Bay harbor, Front Beach, art galleries, restaurants, unique shops, train station and the Shalin Liu Performance center, which features an eclectic schedule of jazz, pop, classical and world music. Inviting public spaces are designed for lively conversation or quiet moments in front of the fireplace or in the well lighted reading room. Outdoors, the perennial gardens, fountains, natural stone patio and rocking chair porch are perfect for relaxing and enjoying the seacoast weather under the shade of the 100 year old beech tree. Delectable breakfasts are served in our sun-filled dining room or outside on the patio or porch.

We had just one night to get away and couldn't have asked for a better stay. It was a lovely, quiet, peaceful hideout for us when downtown Rockport was crowded. And when the crowds died down, we enjoyed the very quick walk to the waterfront. We hope to come again and stay longer!

I cannot recommend this B&B highly enough. Both the interior and exterior of this elegant home are so beautiful with many wonderful choices of rooms & spaces to enjoy during your stay - a sunroom with windows all around, a breakfast room with bay window, a garden patio, a porch with rockers, etc. Our room was bright & cheerful with a spacious personal bathroom across the hall. Helene & Dan are superb hosts - very friendly, informative, and helpful in every way. You will be delighted with their home and hospitality, and the fact that you can walk to everything in town.
We can't thank you enough for this very complimentary review! We are delighted you enjoyed your stay. We really appreciate your lovely description of our B and B and hope to see you again some day. Warm regards, Helene and Dan

We stayed just one night—all we could manage away from our twin daughters—and couldn't have asked for a nicer stay. During peak tourist times, we just hung out in our lovely room and out on the quiet patio. When things calmed down, we took the very short walk down to the heart of Rockport. We hope to return for a longer stay!
Thank you so much for taking the time to review our B and B. Although it was a short stay we enjoyed meeting you and were happy we could provide you with a little down time. We sure do hope to see you again! Warm regards, Helene and Dan

Our stay was perfect at the Beech Tree Bed and Breakfast. The house, porch and yard are beautifully kept, the service was outstanding, the food delicious and the hosts friendly! Though its a pit pricey for us, we'll be back for a special occasion for sure!
We are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us. We take great pride in keeping our home in tip top shape and always appreciate it when guests notice! Thanks for taking the time to write a review and hope to see you again some day. Warm regards, Helene and Dan
