The Green Turtle is a floating bed and breakfast as luxurious as it is unique set in historic Boston Harbor. It offers an expansive view of the Boston skyline and comfort and amenities of a modern bed and breakfast. It is easy to get around by foot, ferry or bus. Our houseboat and yachts were designed for comfort above all and the only reminder you are floating in Boston Harbor is the sound of the gulls, slight motion of the sea and the reflection of the ocean dancing on the ceiling. It is delightful starting your day sipping coffee or enjoying a cold beverage after a day of sightseeing sitting on your aft deck or dock watching the harbor traffic and city skyline. The Green Turtle offers 3 boat choices. The Green Turtle I is a houseboat that has two private suites(Loggerhead and Sea Turtle). Each has a kitchenette and en-suite bathroom/shower and dock chairs. Each sleeps 2 or rent both for 4 people. Green Turtle II is a 45ft. motor yacht and sleeps 2-6. She has 2 private queen staterooms , a full sleeper sofa , a galley, dinette a great aft deck with comfortable furniture. Green Turtle III is a 43ft. motor yacht which sleeps 4 in 2 queen staterooms, a salon, galley, dinette and aft deck with comfortable furniture. Your suite/yacht is stocked with gourmet coffee, tea, juice, water, granola, yogurt and snacks. We deliver fresh breakfast each morning to your door. All boats are docked in protected marina slips permanently moored during your stay.

Loved this entire concept of staying on a boat B&B - Karen and John were perfect hosts - serving breakfast each morning at our requested time. Food was delicious. Very helpful recommending restaurants - all of which were excellent and in walking distance. Easy to get over to Boston via the ferry. Would most definitely recommend.

I couldn't have planned a better place to stay for our anniversary weekend. I highly recommend this truly unique experience. Not only are you lulled to sleep each night by the gentle rocking of the boat and the comfortable beds but you awake to the great views of Boston. If that isn't enough, you are served a wonderful breakfast by the friendliest hosts I have ever met.. I have never felt so welcome. Jon and Karen are by far the two most intriguing people I have met and great conversationalists. I felt like I was staying with family. We will definetly return and I encourage others to try this truly unique experience. Thanks Jon and Karen

Karen and Jon were the best hosts we have ever had with a B and B. The boat is lovely and the breakfasts were delicious. We didn't want to leave!

Jon and Karen take care of you from start to finish. The accommodations are nestled on the harbor away from heavy traffic, yet close to all the action in Boston. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Parking is in a secure area, conveniently located near the accommodations. We were a party of six and loved meeting back at the yacht for an afternoon cup of tea while watching the harbor action from the deck. The quiet setting is perfect for a good night's sleep and the location is perfect if you're headed to the airport following your stay.

My wife and I celebrated our July 2017 wedding anniversary with a fabulous 2 night stay at the Green Turtle. The floating houseboat has everything you need for a wonderful stay on the water. Jon and Karen have thought of everything, from a delivered gourmet breakfast each morning to supplied snacks and drinks for later. The location is fabulous with easy access to water taxis and scheduled mbta inner harbor ferries and is in close proximity to Fanuel Hall and Boston's North End. If you want to try something a little different we highly recommend a stay at the Green Turtle.

This was our second stay at the Green Turtle. We can't say enough about it. The rooms are lovely and the setting is fabulous at the Charlestown Marina! From chairs set up on the dock the entire Boston Harbor can be viewed. There is always something to see whether it be the incredible yachts at the marina or a tug pushing a tanker out to sea. John and Karen are very gracious hosts and provide a delicious breakfast in the morning. In a Boston hotel it would have cost $30. There are many sites to see in Charlestown or you can take the water taxi across the harbor to Downtown Boston. We look forward to returning to the Green Turtle soon!

We absolutely loved our stay! Unfortunately we were only able to stay one night. Jon and Karen were fabulous hosts and we felt like we had known them forever! They welcomed us with open arms and gave excellent recommendations where to eat in Boston and how to get to the train. This was our first time in Boston and they made it perfect! We will definitely return to this wonderful place.
