The Green Turtle is a floating bed and breakfast as luxurious as it is unique. Set in historic Boston Harbor, our B and B offers an expansive view of the Boston skyline along with the comfort and amenities of a modern bed and breakfast. We are less than 10 minutes from Logan Airport and the subway is less than a mile. We provide taxi service to the subway, then it is just 5 stops to downtown. The Green Turtle houseboat and yachts were designed for comfort above all and the only reminder you are floating in Boston Harbor is the sound of the gulls, slight motion of the sea and the reflection of the ocean dancing on the ceiling. It is delightful starting your day sipping coffee or enjoying a cold beverage after a day of sightseeing while sitting on your aft deck or dock chairs watching the fabulous sunset and city skyline. The Green Turtle offers 3 boat choices. The Green Turtle I is a houseboat that has two private/separate suites(Loggerhead and Sea Turtle). Each has a kitchenette and private bathroom/shower en-suite. Each sleeps 2 or rent both for 4 people. Green Turtle II is a 45ft. motor yacht which sleeps 2-6. She has 2 private queen staterooms with bathroom/shower in each stateroom, a full sleeper sofa in the salon, a galley, dinette and a great aft deck with comfortable furniture. Green Turtle III is a 43ft. motor yacht which sleeps 4 in 2 queen staterooms with bathroom/shower in each, a salon, galley, dinette and aft deck with comfortable furniture. Your suite/yacht is stocked with gourmet coffee, tea, juice, water, granola, yogurt and snacks. We deliver fresh breakfast each morning to your door. Staying aboard The Green Turtle is a unique way to visit Boston. All boats are docked in protected marina slips and are permanently moored during your stay. We live here on our sailboat. All of my expectations were exceeded from the moment we arrived. The room was much larger than I anticipated and small touches made it feel like home. Karen and John are friendly amd attentive- everything you could want from your hosts. I would recommend the Green Turtle to anyone who is looking to experience Boston and the surrounding areas in a new and exciting way, with the feel of home.

We stayed in the Green Turtle II for our honeymoon in November of 2016. Initially, we were worried that the boat wouldn't be warm enough in case of cold weather. Once we gave Karen and Jon a call, they assured us that the boat would be as warm as we wanted it to be. They were right! Although we had great weather for it being the second week of November, the boat will be as warm or as cold as you would like it to be! The boat was very clean and tidy while also offering the essential items you would need/want on a vacation like extra towels and breakfast essentials. I highly recommend this floating bed and breakfast for so many reasons!

My husband and I came for one night only, but definitely made the most of our evening on the Green Turtle. We were so genuinely and warmly welcomed by Karen and Jon, and our room was clean, cozy and bright. It was such a unique and special experience, I would recommend this B & B to anyone. Not to mention how delicious our breakfast was! My husband and I cook, but could not figure out what made those eggs so delicious. Five Stars!

My newly wed husband & I stayed for one night. Great location, away from the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough to walk to most places. Room was absolutely adorable. Jon and Karen were very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location for walking to Boston central, though really good public transport links also. We loved the boardwalk walk. The walk through the marina past all the boats moored was a pleasure. Breakfast looking across the rive at Boston, watching water traffic was great, especially with the great breakfast served. Owners guidance was brilliant and detailed, how to get about etc, help with luggage. All the facilities in the room were great, shower power was good. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, good accommodation and location. Plus Boston lovely too. Will stay here when we next travel to Boston.

Boat was immaculate and owners were super nice. Explained everything about the boat and where things were, offered recommendations on dining in the area, and even provided some directions with a map on how to get to the ferry, local convenience store, river walk, etc... They asked if I had booked for a special occasion(I had) and even put up a sign for us. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and served aboard the boat. Would absolutely recommend and go back!
