The Green Turtle is a floating bed and breakfast as luxurious as it is unique set in historic Boston Harbor. It offers an expansive view of the Boston skyline and comfort and amenities of a modern bed and breakfast. It is easy to get around by foot, ferry or bus. Our houseboat and yachts were designed for comfort above all and the only reminder you are floating in Boston Harbor is the sound of the gulls, slight motion of the sea and the reflection of the ocean dancing on the ceiling. It is delightful starting your day sipping coffee or enjoying a cold beverage after a day of sightseeing sitting on your aft deck or dock watching the harbor traffic and city skyline. The Green Turtle offers 3 boat choices. The Green Turtle I is a houseboat that has two private suites(Loggerhead and Sea Turtle). Each has a kitchenette and en-suite bathroom/shower and dock chairs. Each sleeps 2 or rent both for 4 people. Green Turtle II is a 45ft. motor yacht and sleeps 2-6. She has 2 private queen staterooms , a full sleeper sofa , a galley, dinette a great aft deck with comfortable furniture. Green Turtle III is a 43ft. motor yacht which sleeps 4 in 2 queen staterooms, a salon, galley, dinette and aft deck with comfortable furniture. Your suite/yacht is stocked with gourmet coffee, tea, juice, water, granola, yogurt and snacks. We deliver fresh breakfast each morning to your door. All boats are docked in protected marina slips permanently moored during your stay.

My wife and I celebrated our July 2017 wedding anniversary with a fabulous 2 night stay at the Green Turtle. The floating houseboat has everything you need for a wonderful stay on the water. Jon and Karen have thought of everything, from a delivered gourmet breakfast each morning to supplied snacks and drinks for later. The location is fabulous with easy access to water taxis and scheduled mbta inner harbor ferries and is in close proximity to Fanuel Hall and Boston's North End. If you want to try something a little different we highly recommend a stay at the Green Turtle.

This was our second stay at the Green Turtle. We can't say enough about it. The rooms are lovely and the setting is fabulous at the Charlestown Marina! From chairs set up on the dock the entire Boston Harbor can be viewed. There is always something to see whether it be the incredible yachts at the marina or a tug pushing a tanker out to sea. John and Karen are very gracious hosts and provide a delicious breakfast in the morning. In a Boston hotel it would have cost $30. There are many sites to see in Charlestown or you can take the water taxi across the harbor to Downtown Boston. We look forward to returning to the Green Turtle soon!

We are boaters so the floating accommodations appealed to us. Good location with public transportation to get you anywhere in the area. Hosts Karen & Jon are charming and so helpful. This will always be our hotel choice in Boston,

What a relaxing retreat! It was the perfect location to go anywhere downtown without the hassle of parking...just take the ferry across! Karen and John were the perfect hosts and provided every thoughtful amenity. Sitting on the dock after a long day was so peaceful and the gentle rocking in the supremely comfortable bed put us right to sleep! Awaking to a divinely delicious breakfast was the cherry on top and just what we needed to get our day started with a clear mental attitude. We can't wait to come back again, this time as a vacation!

You can stay in a hotel but why not stay on a boat! Our stay was very comfortable and fun. I usually get sea sick but had no issues. It was just like having our own little house with all the amenities. Our hosts were like family and served us a delicious breakfast. We'd go back with friends in a heartbeat!

We were met by Jon and Karen who instantly made us feel welcome. Being the first time in Boston for my wife and I they helped us by recommending where and what to do. We followed their advice and were glad we did. Great breakast each morning. We will come back next time with the kids and rent out the bigger boat. Much better first time experience than staying at your typical hotel room. Much more memorable.

We had a wonderful stay aboard the green turtle. Karen and Jon were extremely welcoming and provided us with several suggestions for dinners. The breakfasts on the deck that Karen prepared were delicious. Thank you for making our stay relaxing and enjoyable.
