The Green Turtle is a floating bed and breakfast as luxurious as it is unique. Set in historic Boston Harbor, our B and B offers an expansive view of the Boston skyline along with the comfort and amenities of a modern bed and breakfast. We are less than 10 minutes from Logan Airport and the subway is less than a mile. We provide taxi service to the subway, then it is just 5 stops to downtown. The Green Turtle houseboat and yachts were designed for comfort above all and the only reminder you are floating in Boston Harbor is the sound of the gulls, slight motion of the sea and the reflection of the ocean dancing on the ceiling. It is delightful starting your day sipping coffee or enjoying a cold beverage after a day of sightseeing while sitting on your aft deck or dock chairs watching the fabulous sunset and city skyline. The Green Turtle offers 3 boat choices. The Green Turtle I is a houseboat that has two private/separate suites(Loggerhead and Sea Turtle). Each has a kitchenette and private bathroom/shower en-suite. Each sleeps 2 or rent both for 4 people. Green Turtle II is a 45ft. motor yacht which sleeps 2-6. She has 2 private queen staterooms with bathroom/shower in each stateroom, a full sleeper sofa in the salon, a galley, dinette and a great aft deck with comfortable furniture. Green Turtle III is a 43ft. motor yacht which sleeps 4 in 2 queen staterooms with bathroom/shower in each, a salon, galley, dinette and aft deck with comfortable furniture. Your suite/yacht is stocked with gourmet coffee, tea, juice, water, granola, yogurt and snacks. We deliver fresh breakfast each morning to your door. Staying aboard The Green Turtle is a unique way to visit Boston. All boats are docked in protected marina slips and are permanently moored during your stay. We live here on our sailboat. We booked here honestly as a last resort because of the price. But I am thrilled that we did. The room is small but hey it's on a boat. Everything is new and clean and we slept like babies in a rocking cradle. The down side is the same as the upside. The location. It is easy but time consuming to get anywhere. We left our car parked at the boat for 10$ a day rather than deal with parking in the city. We Ubered every where and spent about 80$ in two days. The surroundings are peaceful and we were able to wake up and go right outside for a morning walk around the harbor. Hostess Karen made us two yummy breakfasts. And host John was easy to talk to and a great guide. I would stay again.

My husband and I visited the Green Turtle for the second time on New Years weekend. We love to go during the off seasoning to enjoy the amazing views of the harbor. Short walk to many nice restaurants (and the North End), and the water taxi stops right out front. The room is lovely, warm and cozy. Karen and Jon couldn't be any nicer or more hospitable. The breakfast was delicious! We can't wait to go back!

All of my expectations were exceeded from the moment we arrived. The room was much larger than I anticipated and small touches made it feel like home. Karen and John are friendly amd attentive- everything you could want from your hosts. I would recommend the Green Turtle to anyone who is looking to experience Boston and the surrounding areas in a new and exciting way, with the feel of home.

We stayed in the Green Turtle II for our honeymoon in November of 2016. Initially, we were worried that the boat wouldn't be warm enough in case of cold weather. Once we gave Karen and Jon a call, they assured us that the boat would be as warm as we wanted it to be. They were right! Although we had great weather for it being the second week of November, the boat will be as warm or as cold as you would like it to be! The boat was very clean and tidy while also offering the essential items you would need/want on a vacation like extra towels and breakfast essentials. I highly recommend this floating bed and breakfast for so many reasons!

My husband and I came for one night only, but definitely made the most of our evening on the Green Turtle. We were so genuinely and warmly welcomed by Karen and Jon, and our room was clean, cozy and bright. It was such a unique and special experience, I would recommend this B & B to anyone. Not to mention how delicious our breakfast was! My husband and I cook, but could not figure out what made those eggs so delicious. Five Stars!

My newly wed husband & I stayed for one night. Great location, away from the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough to walk to most places. Room was absolutely adorable. Jon and Karen were very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
