Perfect Hideaway

5 on November 05, 2013

This is a great hidden find! It is secluded and tucked away into a wonderfully quaint location. The property is beautiful and the garden is whimsical. This is just the feeling you get outside of the property. The rooms are lovely with every need thought of and attended to. If you have a hankering for an evening in, you have cable TV. If you'd like to get out, there are four sit-down restaurants (two fancy and two every-day dining) nearby - one fancy one inside the Jenkins Inn! Honestly, this is a getaway worth experiencing.

Truly memorable!

I don't even know where to begin. My husband and i kind of married on a whim (after only 7 years :)). But anyway looking for a special place for our night. My husband stumbled across this wonderful little gem and i can't imagine a more perfect 'honeymoon'! As soon as we came in, David announced that we were upgraded to the Sunroom Suite from the Jenkins Room, which surprised us right away. We had eaten already, so we were taken to a small private dining room and served wonderful desserts of cream brulee, triple chocolate torte, frangelico and capuccino. Our room was unbelievable, as others have said, every possible touch was there, throughout the entire inn. In the morning we ate in a wonderful dining room with windows all around overlooking gardens, little paths, bird houses and feeders. We had a wonderful egg and tomato souffle, herbed scrambled eggs, coffee that was actually delicious (my husband is a bit of a coffee connoisseur), homemade strawberry jam! David and Joe love what they do, love their inn, and it shows in every way. We have never had such personalized attention anywhere before. If our marriage is anything like how it began here, we will be in bliss forever. And every anniversary will be spent here. Thank you so much!!
