You're greeted with stately columns and regal galleries. Inside, the charm of antebellum New Orleans surrounds you. This grand Greek Revival house of the 1850's exudes both the elegance and decadence of old Creole Louisiana. With soaring 14-foot ceilings and intricate, hand-crafted cypress trim, your room is a respite from the bustle of the street. Some feature 4-poster king beds, others queen and full sized beds. All have private baths. An intimate courtyard invites you to relax in our soothing spa surrounded by tropical greenery and yet you're close to the action. Just six blocks from the French Quarter, a 15 minute stroll to the non-stop energy of Bourbon Street. Fine restaurants, famous jazz clubs and sidewalk cafes are literally a short walk from our front door. Royal Street Courtyard, where you're at home in New Orleans.

Phillip and David are the best, just lovely people, and so helpful. Very spacious room, quiet, great location and just a very comfortable and homey experience. We would definitely stay here again.

I can recommend this BB highly. The hosts are very friendly and knowledgeable and will do anything to make your stay enjoyable. The location is super, very close, in walkable distance to the French quarter, and the place and rooms are cleans and inviting. The price is very reasonable. The little garden behind the house has tropical plants and is very much cared for.

Perfect location in a quiet neighborhood. Beautiful older historic home with lots of history. The inn keepers live nearby and are among the best for ideas of where to eat, help with getting to and from the hustle a bustle of bourbon street. It's a good but safe walk if the weather is pleasant. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in New Orleans if you want the best experience of this great city!

Philip and David were very welcoming hosts, making sure we knew about all the local restaurants and area. They were engaging and interested in learning more about their guests. The B&B is only a 15 minute walk to the French Quarter, and less to Frenchman Street. We felt comfortable walking everywhere, and were able to easily take Uber at night. We had a very pleasant stay, the house was quiet, historical and we felt safe. Would recommend to anyone looking for a more "local" place to stay visiting Nola.

best place to stay. located 5 min by walk from the Frenchman Street wich is the best place to be at night to listen good music. The owners are like family- the building makes you feel in New Orleans with a fab courtyard and history. Fab people- fab location- fab rooms.. very clean- tidy- safe... just stay there- you won't regret!

A five-minute stroll from Frenchman Street in a lovely historic neighborhood, beautiful 14 ft high ceilings, very comfortable and Phillip is a great host. No restaurant (but no need for one, with so many great restaurants and cafes nearby), but they do have a small breakfast room that has everything you need. Quieter than the French quarter, every bit as nice (or nicer) than the Garden district, this is a great find.

Extremely helpful host that went out of his way to recommend restaurants. Loved our room with it's own balcony. Great Marginy location - walked everywhere!

This is a beautiful and cozy house...our favorite part being the room opening to a balcony where, each morning, we enjoyed coffee and breakfast while overlooking the quaint Marigny neighborhood. Also, we enjoyed drinking coffee on the porch and saying hello to all the friendly neighbors (and their pets) as they went by. The neighborhood itself was filled with unique shops and restaurants that could have kept us busy for our entire vacation without even making the trip to the more well-known New Orleans neighborhoods. But, because it is just a 5 minute walk to Frenchmen Street and only a few more minutes into the French Quarter, we did visit these iconic locations daily. These are all great reasons to stay at Royal Street Courtyard... but they're not the reasons we will never stay anywhere else in New Orleans. The reason is Phillip and David. Their dining and entertainment recommendations helped us to make the most of our trip. But, even more important, they made us feel instantly at home... so much so that we often spoke of "going home" at the end of the night (not back to the B&B or the hotel), and when we left we were not only sad to leave New Orleans, we were sad to leave Royal Street Courtyard and Phillip & David. 10/10
