Royal Street Courtyard

2438 Royal Street , New Orleans, LA 70117 USA (Show map)

You're greeted with stately columns and regal galleries. Inside, the charm of antebellum New Orleans surrounds you. This grand Greek Revival house of the 1850's exudes both the elegance and decadence of old Creole Louisiana. With soaring 14-foot ceilings and intricate, hand-crafted cypress trim, your room is a respite from the bustle of the street. Some feature 4-poster king beds, others queen and full sized beds. All have private baths. An intimate courtyard invites you to relax in our soothing spa surrounded by tropical greenery and yet you're close to the action. Just six blocks from the French Quarter, a 15 minute stroll to the non-stop energy of Bourbon Street. Fine restaurants, famous jazz clubs and sidewalk cafes are literally a short walk from our front door. Royal Street Courtyard, where you're at home in New Orleans.

Best B&B ever!!

5 on June 07, 2017

My husband and I have stayed at this B&B for close to 14 or 15 years. It's the only place we want to stay when we go to NOLA. Phillip and David are the perfect hosts and the house is lovely ;)). Couldn't ask for a better place to stay,!! Love it!!

My husband and I had a fabulous time in New Orleans and a big part of that is staying at the Royal Street Courtyard. It is quiet, beautiful and Phillip treats us like family. I would stay there again when returning to New Orleans.

This place is the best! Located near but not too far from all the fun New Orleans offers. Owners are exceptional, and continue to suggest the best food places. Never consider other places.

Great location, great hosts

Lovely room. The location was the best - walking distance from all the bars and music, but just far enough away to be nice and quite. The hosts were both lovely and took plenty of time to tell you about the area. I'd definitely stay there again.

A Gem Set in a Wonderful Neighborhood

Located in a quiet friendly neighborhood this B&B has charm of location, architecture and two exceptional hosts who are extremely kind and helpful - as well as charming and fun! . It's situated close to many music venues, an ample number of excellent restaurants and an easy walk to the French Quarter.

My sister and I just returned from our 2nd stay at the Royal St. Courtyard, we had a wonderful time, the Hosts Philip and Davis are the best. The B & B is historical, comfortable, with great beds, the front porch is a great place to people watch. The location is 5 minutes walk from Frenchman St., a great area for music & restaurants. The location is an easy walk from the French quarter and Bourbon St. I would recommend without hesitation.

An absolutely fabulous experience!

From the moment we arrived, our gracious and lovely hosts made us feel welcomed and provided us with recommendations to get the best experience of New Orleans during our stay. Phillip and David are simply wonderful hosts and what a beautiful accommodation. Our room was exquisite, with a balcony overlooking a lovely residential street. Our room was kept very clean and it was very relaxing when we took a break from the hustle and bustle of New Orleans during Mardis Gras. The location was perfect - you can walk into the French Quarter very easily and safely but return to a quiet oasis. Phillip and David were full of ideas about where we should go and where we should eat, and all affordable. We will tell all our friends about this place!
