A remarkable transformation and renovation has taken place here, where you literally step back in history into an 1860's Grand Inn with every comfort of the 21st century at hand. Our location, in the historic Faubourg Marigny section of New Orleans enables our guests to enjoy the close proximity of the French Quarter (only 5 blocks) and the Frenchmen Street shops and restaurants

This was our second time staying with Bob and Michelle at the Elysian Fields Inn. Second time because we were so happy with the first. The place is in a good location that is close enough to the French Quarter but far enough away to be quiet. Bob and Michelle give good tips on where to go and what to see. Breakfasts were great. Both times we have gone with a number of couples and reserved 4-6 rooms. This place is great for groups such as this. After our trip last week, we are already considering making another return for French Quarter Fest next year. I would highly recommend Elysian Fields Inn.

Quiet, clean, friendly hosts--short walk to clubs on Frenchman Street, French Quarter well within walking distance. Altogether, an excellent place to stay. Onsite dining limited to varying breakfast items, but location is near Pore Boys & more substantial fare.

This spacious and very comfortable B&B is just a few blocks from the French Quarter in a quiet area yet convenient to several neighborhoods. The hosts were friendly, upbeat and generous with their information about things to do and places to eat. Breakfast was made to order and delicious. I would not hesitate to recommend this Inn to friends.

We've had the pleasure of staying here a couple times around the holidays and have always enjoy the place, the pace of the Marigny and the warmth from Michelle and Bob. It feels like home. KUDOS!

I love staying here when I'm in New Orleans! It's a beautiful home, with great perks (Aveda in the bathroom, tasty coffee, homemade breakfast) and the location can't be beat.

Great BNB and excellent location. Very clean, comfortable, and delicious breakfast. Bob, Michelle, and Beck are the best hosts. They really love hosting guests and it shows. Michelle provided some wonderful suggestions for meals and things to do during my visit. I wasn't able to get to everything, so I'll be coming back to NOLA and definitely staying at Elysian Fields again. Thank you for making my first visit to NOLA so special!

Was met with champagne and a warm smile. The house was breath taking. I remember walking in and be overwhelmed with how elegant the house was. Beautifully decorated, it had personality and class. Michelle (the owner) gave us a run down of everything which included breakfast, local recommendations, and even safety precautions for the quarter. Friendly and knowledgeable. Bob (the owner) made us the most fantastic shrimp and grits I have ever had. It was amazing. They were kind, professional, and fun people. Their house is exactly what you want in a bed and breakfast. Fancy yet comfortable. Stylish yet affordable. Professional yet laid back. Will definitely be returning.

Bob and I met in high school and have lived in Louisville KY and Atlanta GA before moving to New Orleans to take ownership of Elysian Fields Inn. One of our two daughters started her nursing career here and soon after met her husband, a native of New Orleans. We decided to consider a move here and we stayed at Elysian Fields Inn on one of our many visits. We fell in love with the Inn and are honored to carry on it's 15 year tradition of wowing guests.
