This is our third year at Crescent City Guest House and we don't even look elsewhere. We stayed at 2 other places previously and they were fine, but I can't say enough about Matt and Lynn's hospitality, as well as all the other benefits. 5 minute walk to Frenchman, 20 min walk to the French Quarter, incredible restaurants close by, a safe neighbourhood. Matt and Lynn are so warm, helpful and thoughtful with little details, like comfy robes and mini fridges in each room. The "breakfast" is far more; it's available all the time... fruit and breads and yogurt and cereal and milk, juice...and King Cakes at Mardi Gras! I don't even know how they manage to come and go and clean the rooms as I know we have a totally unpredictable schedule when we're there. I can't say enough and it's all true!

check-in was easy, rooms were good, location is great, very laid back accommodations for a bed and breakfast which is great if you don't really want to be too social. Food is self-service continental style breakfast (cereals, coffee, tea, bagels, etc.)

We really enjoyed our stay here for our anniversary. It is the perfect home away from home. Many thanks to Matt and Lyn for their warm welcome. This is a beautifully maintained historic property with all the comforts of home. I especially appreciated the well-stocked breakfast items, the reading library and the zen frog statue in the garden.

What a find! One of the many unexpected blessings on our recent trip. And with a reduced rate when we decided to stay an extra night. Hosts were helpful, friendly, and stayed on their own except when needed. Good location, near French Quarter and trolley line. Spend some time in the garden--a special place with it's flowers and fountains. Highly recommended!

The hospitality at Crescent City Guest House is outstanding; the garden is an oasis that has become more beautiful with every visit. Great location within short walking distance of the French Quarter and the Mississippi. Looking forward to my next visit.....

Crescent City Guest House was a tremendous value. The proprietors were friendly, generous and always willing to help on whatever we needed. The rooms were clean and cozy. The rear garden was simply gorgeous with flowers, plants and water flows galore. Only 2 blocks from Frenchmen ST and the French Quarter made the visit a very pleasant & convenient stay. Multiple breakfast spots were within walking distance. High recommended!!!!

This is a super cute, quaint place! We just loved it. It also has a beautiful backyard/garden...which offers a very relaxing start and end to your day. The location is a big plus, as well, being close to Frenchmen St and the French Quarter. Plus the area offers some really great places to eat within a few minutes walk. This was my second stay and not my last for sure!

Our second time staying here and Matt and Lynn are the best hosts! Lovely home, the kitchen is stocked, the beds are comfortable and there are so many little touches (super comfy robes, King cake for Mardi Gras, etc). The proximity to the French Quarter, local restaurants and a cool neighborhood make this a great spot. We will be back again and again!
