We began our adventure in New Orleans with Tom and Dana at B&W Courtyards and it was perfect. Dana settled us in the Barbados Cottage, a spacious two floor cottage, with a hot tub just out the front door (it's not always hot in NOLA :) We were in heaven. The Faubourg Marigny, the neighborhood B&W Courtyards is nestled in, is enchanting with cafes and restaurants on most corners. We walked everywhere and Lyfted after dark. The weather in November suited our sense of adventure ~ we got around! Tom cooks a full breakfast not to be missed. His beautifully set table is the perfect place to chat with other guests and get the low down from Tom and Dana on culture and fun. We WILL be back. New Orleans is like no other place. We look forward to more fun, food, music, history and art. Thank you Tom and Dana for sharing your authentic hospitality and gracious southern warmth.

This is my go-to place in New Orleans -- great location; comfortable space; like living in a house rather than a single room. You can stay in and still be in New Orleans - don't want to go out every night for dinner? Then don't - use the kitchen to cook at 'home'. The bed is comfortable - only drawback is a very small bathroom, but not is functional so not a huge complaint. And when you can, have the breakfast prepared by the owners - it is delish!!

My husband and I celebrated our 40th anniversary with a trip to New Orleans and we enjoyed our stay at the B&W Courtyards. We love the music, the food, the sights and the friendly people in New Orleans. Our room (in the front) was very comfortable but lacked natural light. The window and outside door had shutters that we couldn't open. Tom and Dana were very good hosts, serving up tasty breakfasts and interesting conversations. The bnb is beautifully decorated inside and out, and the courtyards, while small, are relaxing and soothing with the water fountains. Tom expectedly gave us a bottle of champagne for our anniversary! He also told us about a second line parade for Fats Domino that we were able to participate in - one of the highlights of our trip! The Marigny location is quiet, low key, and a short walk to the French Quarter and 3 quick blocks to Frenchmen Street. Ubers are easy to get if needed.

My partner and I had an excellent stay at Dana and Tom's B&W Courtyards B&B. We stayed at the B&B along with other family members, and we all felt the property had the great balance of togetherness and privacy. We stayed in The Barbados Cottage, which basically is a small two story house! The living room and kitchen were great to entertain, and opened out to a quiet courtyard and community hot tub. The breakfast was delicious, and varied on all three morning.Pain purdu, a delicious omelette and an egg scramble. Yum! The property was a great oasis, with two courtyards and fountains. The beer and water provided by the hosts for a minimal charge is such a great touch. The neighborhood is right off the French Quarter, walkable in 5-10 minutes. The restaurants, art houses and offerings of the neighborhood are great, and evolving! Dana Tom have such good recommendations, you will feel like a local. and It feels like an area where things will open at a bat and an eye, and ever changing. Very exciting stuff. Highly recommend this B&B for an oasis in a burgeoning, eclectic NOLA neighborhood.

The location was FANTASTIC for us. A few blocks away is my favorite corner of Frenchmen street and Dat Dog. The room was charming and clean with everything we needed for the amount of time we spent there. The bathroom is indeed small but it's not a problem in any way. Perfect actually. We will be back as soon as possible. I wasn't able to rate the onsite dining because we stayed at a time when the B&B functioned as a guest house only. The service was still great as communication was easy and efficient, and there were nice touches everywhere my favorite: the ice machine right at the entrance to the courtyard (lovely by the way). Can't wait to go back!

The B&W Courtyards is my home away from home. The beautiful lush tropical vegetation, the coy pond, and comfortable backyard are great for relaxing after walking around in the French Quarter. I came offseason, so I did not dine here, however, the restaurant across the street which Tom recommended was yummy. Tom was also on site when we arrived and welcomed us to this wonderful place.

My husband and I had a wonderful 3 day getaway at the B&W Courtyards. It felt like staying with friends. Dana is very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful (listen to her recommendations!) and Tom is an excellent host that makes a killer breakfast. Cooked fresh, plentiful, and with care. Rooms were clean and very private. Soft beds. Stayed in the front room and could hear the fountains and smell the Jasmine blossoms at night. Walking distance from the FQ and Frenchman. Highly recommend and looking forward to returning! Thanks, Tom & Dana!
