This is my go-to place in New Orleans -- great location; comfortable space; like living in a house rather than a single room. You can stay in and still be in New Orleans - don't want to go out every night for dinner? Then don't - use the kitchen to cook at 'home'. The bed is comfortable - only drawback is a very small bathroom, but not is functional so not a huge complaint. And when you can, have the breakfast prepared by the owners - it is delish!!

My partner and I had an excellent stay at Dana and Tom's B&W Courtyards B&B. We stayed at the B&B along with other family members, and we all felt the property had the great balance of togetherness and privacy. We stayed in The Barbados Cottage, which basically is a small two story house! The living room and kitchen were great to entertain, and opened out to a quiet courtyard and community hot tub. The breakfast was delicious, and varied on all three morning.Pain purdu, a delicious omelette and an egg scramble. Yum! The property was a great oasis, with two courtyards and fountains. The beer and water provided by the hosts for a minimal charge is such a great touch. The neighborhood is right off the French Quarter, walkable in 5-10 minutes. The restaurants, art houses and offerings of the neighborhood are great, and evolving! Dana Tom have such good recommendations, you will feel like a local. and It feels like an area where things will open at a bat and an eye, and ever changing. Very exciting stuff. Highly recommend this B&B for an oasis in a burgeoning, eclectic NOLA neighborhood.

My husband and I had a wonderful 3 day getaway at the B&W Courtyards. It felt like staying with friends. Dana is very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful (listen to her recommendations!) and Tom is an excellent host that makes a killer breakfast. Cooked fresh, plentiful, and with care. Rooms were clean and very private. Soft beds. Stayed in the front room and could hear the fountains and smell the Jasmine blossoms at night. Walking distance from the FQ and Frenchman. Highly recommend and looking forward to returning! Thanks, Tom & Dana!

We really enjoyed our stay at B & W. The owners were helpful from the get-go, recommending a taxi service to pick us up. First impression of the place was a little iffy just because from the entrance it looks small and the area seemed farther from the French quarter than I realized. However, the charm of our room (front carriage house) made up for that, and there were nice touches like central air and a newly finished bathroom. We also enjoyed the hot tub even though it was slightly confusing to work (it seemed to know the water level or have motion sensors, so we just got in and then it started working). The breakfasts were delicious! Much better than average continental. Also, our hosts found out it was, my friends bachelorette party and gave us a little bottle of champagne which I found to be such a sweet touch. Overall, if you are looking for a cute b&b away from the noise, this should be your go-to. And though it was a little farther than I thought, the walk wasn't too bad. Plus, it's very close to Frenchman street so we got to experience jazz that we may not have just staying in the French quarter. Thanks for the great stay!

The best definition for "southern hospitality"? B & W Courtyards! Our brief stay (4 days) could not have been more enjoyable. This was our first time in New Orleans, and our first time staying at a B&B. NOLA is an amazing city: the food, the colorful neighborhoods, the music, the friendly people. After a jam-packed day of experiencing the sights and sounds of NO, it was especially nice to take the short walk to the "home" that Rob and Kevin prepared for us. The room was immaculate. (Somehow, each morning as we enjoyed the spectacular breakfast, our bed was made, fresh linens appeared and a bucket of ice found its way to our room.) Rob is one of the funniest people we've ever met. His stories are wonderful and his suggestions are always helpful. Kevin's breakfasts, although delicious, are miniature works of art, and were almost too beautiful to eat (but we did!). We came here on a friend's recommendation, and now we happily recommend the B & W Courtyards to you. It will be one of the nicest things you've ever done for yourself. Enjoy! Joe & Sharon
Thank you so much

My boyfriend and I stayed 3 nights in this wonderful b&b. The detail in the rooms were perfect, along with the beautiful courtyards. The hot tub was a treat every night and even with other guests it was very private. To top if off, the hosts, Kevin and Rob really treat the guests special and take better care of them than any place I have ever stayed. The breakfasts are perfect and Kevin makes the most amazing pastries and unbelievable fruit plates. The location could not have been any better for a stay in New Orleans. Never had any problem parking and Frenchman St and the Quarter were in a short walking distance. We had an absolutely perfect weekend and we have already decided that we will visit B & W Courtyards at least once a year!

My wife and I spent a week over Christmas in the Barbados Room, which is very quiet and comfortable and close to the hot tub which is a blessing on a cool winter's night. As others have emphasized, Rob and Kevin are great hosts, Rob the entertainer distracting you at breakfast while Kevin quietly leaves of preparing an excellent breakfast to clean your rooms and make the beds. Can't imaging a better place to stay in NO, very close to Frenchmen's and its great bars and music and just a hop, step and jump to the Quarter. Do try one of Kevin's excellent and affordable massages, too.

The B&W is a very nice B&B with excellent hosts and a great location close to the French Quarter. The room we had was a bit on the small side but came with a nice bed and 21" TV. It was nicely decorated. One comment worth mentioning is that we could hear virtually everything being said through the adjoining wall so it would be a good idea to ask about that if you need absolute silence. Nonetheless our neighbors were very quiet after 11pm, so other than hearing their early evening "exercise" we had no trouble sleeping at all. The a/c works great and the courtyards are splendid. While local laws prohibit B&B's from serving a hot breakfast, Kevin really puts a nice flair with something different baked every day. The plates they use are especially beautiful and Rob is terrific about participating in morning conversations and giving tips and recommendations. That morning hour was one of the highlights of our stay. We learned a lot about New Orleans over the 4 days we were there from Rob. He's not shy at all about giving his opinions and is really delightful and appreciative of your business.
