A very comfortable room with a huge 4 poster bed, private bath with shower and a bidet. This plus cable TV, free internet connection and a small in room refrigerator made our stay memorable. The owner, Ms. Lee was generous with suggestions for sights to see & restaurants for dinner. And she served the most wonderful Southern breakfast. A good time & relaxing time made us want to come back soon.

We stayed at Hughes house each time we travel to Hammond. What is best? The lovely house, the comfy beds or the splendid hostess Lee Collins. All three!

Step into a world away from the hustle and bustle. Hughes House and Ms Lee are an amazing combo guarenteed to make your weekend splendid. Wonderfu treat for a weekend getaway or a gift to give a friend. Outstanding full breakfast with excellent conversation. In the downtown area where shopping and restaurants are a short walk away. Great place!

We stayed at Hughes House B&B on Feb1 on our way to New Orleans for a cruise. The house is beautiful and Lee is a wonderful hostess. We had wine on the veranda and she gave us a great tour of the house, telling us all about the history of the original owners and the restoration work she and her husband did on the house. Before heading to NO, she fixed a delicious breakfast. We plan to stay here again when we cruise out of NO again.

We have stayed at Hughes House over the years and it has always been a superb experience. Yes, the house is impressive. But it is the hostess Lee Collins who brings us back. She makes us feel like family. And the breakfast is divine!

We were on our way back home & stopped overnight at Hughes House B&B. Big rooms with comfortable 4 poster beds. We just wish it was warmer to try the swimming pool - have to come back in summertime I guess. Breakfast was amazing and they recommended a great restaurant for dinner - Brady's is great and just a few blocks away !
