Strawberry Stuffed French Toast

  • 12 Sliced white bread
  • 6 Frozen Strawberries, sliced
  • 1-12 oz package Cream Cheese softened at room temperature, cut into cubes
  • 6 Eggs
  • 1 1/2 Cups Milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 Cup Maple Syrup
  • 6 teaspoons Butter


  1. Spray 9x13 pan with cooking spray. Lay 6 bread slices in the bottom. Flatten cubes of cream cheese and place on bread slices. Placed sliced strawberries on cream cheese. Cover with other 6 slices of bread.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, beat eggs, milk, baking powder, maple syrup, butter. Pour over bread. Cover with tin foil and place in fridge overnight.
  3. In the morning, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake covered for 30 minutes, uncover and bake an additional 30 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve with warm maple syrup or flavor of your choice. Sausage and fruit round out the dish.
