  • 1 and 1/3 C All-purpose flour
  • 1 and 1/3 C Milk
  • eggs
  • milk
  • vanilla
  • Bread slices
  • Fruit variety - canned or fresh

  1. On medium to low heat, boil for approximately 8 minutes, brown sugar, water & butter. Pour into greased 8x12 baking pan
  2. Add any variety of fruit on top of brown sugar mixture. I usually use canned or fresh peaches, but strawberries, berries, apples all work well, mixed or alone, fresh, frozen or canned.
  3. Whisk egg, milk & vanilla and pour ontop of bread. Sprinkle with Cinnamon. Set in fridge overnight or for 8 hours, covered with aluminum foil.
  4. Bake at 350 covered for about 20 minutes, then uncover and bake 30 more minutes or until golden brown & firm to the touch. Flip to serve and garnish with orange slice.
  5. Cut french bread loaf in 1" slices and lay onto fruit. Any type of bread may be used. I like to use raisin cinnamon bread with apple slices for the fruit.
