  • 1 loaf Wheat French Bread
  • Packaged, shredded cheese
  • Softened butter or margarine
  • Parsley flakes or Spinach/herb flakes


  1. The night before breakfast, cut two slices per guest from the Wheat French Bread loaf. Slices should be about 1/2 inch, cut diagonally.
  2. Butter the slices with soft butter or spreadable margarine.
  3. Sprinkle liberally with shredded cheese. (I like the three-cheese combinations.)
  4. Sprinkle liberally with parsley flakes or spinach/herb flakes. Place on baking pan, cover and refrigerate until morning.
  5. Preheat oven to 350. When guests are seated, switch oven to broil and put toast slices in to toast for 5-7 minutes while you finish the eggs and bacon. Easy, easy, easy!
