Apple French Toast

  • 1 and 1/3 C All-purpose flour
  • 1 and 1/3 C Milk
  • Cinnamon
  • Sugar
  • Granny Smith Apples
  • Cinnamon
  • Sugar


  1. Heat your griddle - electric or over stove top.
  2. Slice Apples and saute in pan with butter, 1 tablespoon Cinnamon and 1 tablespoon Sugar. Saute until browned and sugar & cinnamon are carmelized. Set aside but keep warm.
  3. Slice bread into thick slices - 1/2 inch thick. Dip bread into egg mixture and place onto griddle. Cook til tan/light brown - don't over cook - turn and cook on other side - turn and cook edges a little so there is no uncooked egg.
  4. Cut each slice of French Toast in half diagonally then layer on a dish - slightly overlapping each other. Spoon some sauted apple on top of the French Toast and lightly dust with powdered sugar. Serve with warm Maple Syrup if desired.
  5. Whisk together in a bowl the Eggs, Cream, 1 teaspoon cinnamon & sugar. Whisk til well blended.
