Slice Apples and saute in pan with butter, 1 tablespoon Cinnamon and 1 tablespoon Sugar. Saute until browned and sugar & cinnamon are carmelized. Set aside but keep warm.
Slice bread into thick slices - 1/2 inch thick. Dip bread into egg mixture and place onto griddle. Cook til tan/light brown - don't over cook - turn and cook on other side - turn and cook edges a little so there is no uncooked egg.
Cut each slice of French Toast in half diagonally then layer on a dish - slightly overlapping each other. Spoon some sauted apple on top of the French Toast and lightly dust with powdered sugar. Serve with warm Maple Syrup if desired.
Whisk together in a bowl the Eggs, Cream, 1 teaspoon cinnamon & sugar. Whisk til well blended.
