Oven Omelet

  • 1/4 stick butter
  • 9 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt


  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  2. Place butter in a medium-sized baking dish. Melt the butter in the oven, turning the dish to coat its entire bottom.
  3. Beat eggs, sour cream, milk and salt until blended.
  4. Pour into buttered dish and bake for about 45 minutes, or until eggs are set.
  5. Serve hot. The omelet can be topped with meat, cheese, vegetables, or fruit.
