Tahitian Waldorf Slaw with Dates & Walnuts

  • 1 and 1/3 C All-purpose flour
  • 1 and 1/3 C Milk
  • 1/4 cup dried dates, chopped
  • 1/8 cup walnuts, chopped into chunks
  • 1/4 cup Hellman's (or Best Foods) Mayonnaise
  • 1/2t. Lemon Juice (freshly-squeezed)
  • 1/8t. ginger (fresh) chopped
  • 1/8t. curry powder
  • Walnut halves for garnish
  • Fresh Baby Salad Greens

  1. Mix all of the ingredients together (except walnut halves and salad greens)
  2. Put one cup of salad greens on each plate and arrange the mixture on top of the greens. Top with two walnut halves for garnish.
  3. Very elegant and easily prepared salad to accompany a meat or poultry entree.
