Round Barn Chocolate Chip Revolution Cookie

  • 1 and 1/3 C All-purpose flour
  • 1 and 1/3 C Milk
  • ginger
  • cumin
  • baking soda
  • cayenne
  • ground cloves
  • RainForest Crunch Sinful Snack Candy
  • unsalted butter, softened
  • packed brown sugar
  • granulated sugar
  • vanilla extract
  • eggs
  • old fashioned or quick cooking oats
  • chocolate chips


  1. Note: RainForest Crunch is a Brazil nut praline candy. If not available, substitute any nut-based praline candy. Should be broken into bite sized pieces.
  2. Sift the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cumin, baking soda, salt, cayenne and cloves together in a bowl. Combine 2 tablespoons of the flour mixture and the RainForest crunch in a small bowl; set aside.
  3. Beat the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Beat in the vanilla and eggs. Add the remaining flour mixture and stir until combined. Stir in the oats, chocolate chips and RainForest Crunch mixture. Drop the dough by teaspoons 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
  4. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 13 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on a wire rack.

While on a lifelong mission to find the ultimate chocolate chip cookie, I created this unusual "sinsation." There's just enough spice in this cookie to create some heat that invigorates the palate, making you want more and more of this crunch-filled combination.
