Enjoyed our stay there very much! We stayed in the terrace suite which wa s perfect for our family. It would have been nice to have had a curtain or screen to put between the 2 bedrooms, simply because the bathroom was so tiny, there was very little room to get changed in there. Also, the shower was so tiny and there was no shelf or anything on which to set your shampoo, conditioner, soap, washcloth, razor... The family that is running it is very friendly, very accommodating and great cooks!
We were traveling with friends to the Sight and Sound Theatre in Lancaster. We always enjoy staying at a bed and breakfast. This was a great choice. The Inn connected with an ice cream shop and small fudge, candy, and novelty store. We were served breakfast in the ice cream shop - delicious french toast and deep fried bacon!
We stayed at this B&B because it was built on land that our ancestors owned in the 1700's. The innkeepers were very friendly and full of interesting facts about some of our ancestors and the area. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone. The room we stayed in is very charming, comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were very tasty and filling.
We stayed one night at Airy Hill Bed and Breakfast with our toddler and infant. Mark and Hazel were warm and friendly hosts. The place was very kid-friendly - there were toys our toddler was happy playing with, a pack and play for our infant to sleep in and a tour of the farm with a wagon ride and lots of ways for our toddler to participate. She "led" the mini-ponies around, collected eggs from the chickens and fed the sheep. The breakfast was delicious and worth staying at the bed and breakfast in and of itself. Even my picky toddler enjoyed it. I think this farm would be appealing to couples without kids as well - scenic, quiet and private rooms. Thanks for a great stay!
We had a fantastic time at Airy Hill B&B. Hazel and Mark were amazing hosts, couldn't be friendlier or more hospitable. Breakfast is absolutely delicious, and so much fun to eat with other guests, and with Hazel & Mark. Mark took us on a tour of the farm after breakfast where we got to feed and walk the animals (they even have mini horses and alpacas!), and we left with some fresh eggs from their chickens! We were traveling as a couple but I can imagine this place to be a lot of fun with young children. Highly recommended if you are looking for a true country experience in the Lancaster area.
My sister and I have been meeting at Annville Inn for about 8 years now and we are NEVER disappointed! The rooms are always clean, your every need is filled by Rosalie! She is the cream of the crop when it comes to Innkeepers!
My husband and I stayed there for two nights recently, for our anniversary. We stayed in the cottage that is on the property, "the Patriot". The decor was nice, rustic and Colonial era. We're over 50, and would prefer a firmer bed. I inquired about the beds inside the main house, and was told there is a firmer one. The breakfast provided was delicious!
We arrived at the B&B later in the evening. John greeted us, showed us where everything was, and gave us suggestions for dinner in town. He made us feel at home. In the morning, there was coffee waiting in the common room and a delicious breakfast was served. We met Heidi who was a wonderful hostess. We enjoyed the conversation with the other couple at our table and also with John and Heidi as they served us our 3 course meal. We can't recommend their B&B enough. We hope to return very soon! I was 50% of two old gals celebrating half a century of friendship. We had a wonderful week long stay at this B&B. We stayed in the two room "suite" which had very comfortable beds and a nice little seating area. Mark and Brenda are fantastic hosts who obviously really enjoy it. They have a lovely home with a huge kitchen/dining area which was the heart of a wonderful family style breakfast every morning. Brenda is a great cook who is justifiably proud of her yummy breakfast dishes that incorporated a lot of her home grown products. Every guest we met clearly enjoyed being there. Loved having a great camaraderie at breakfast. Fresh warm cookies, coffee & tea waiting in the communal room in the afternoon. Lovely grounds. Nice, well behaved dogs and a sweet kitty too. What's not to love?
My stay at Annville Inn was amazing. Rosalie the innkeeper was welcoming, charming, and knowledgeable of the area. For my first time staying at a bed and breakfast I couldn't be more pleased. The Southwestern themed room that I stayed in was cozy and more spacious than it appears in pictures. I would definitely stay here again and it would have my highest recommendation to family and friends.
We stayed at this bed & breakfast for 2 nights. It was fantastic! The rooms were so clean and decorated so nice! And Robert the owner is an amazing cook. The breakfasts were so good!! I requested gluten free and he was so accomodating. Robert also entertained us as we ate breakfast, really funny stories/jokes! I will return and may add additional nights onto my trip next time!!
Fran and Mary were extremely hospitable innkeepers. They made you feel at home and were very accommodating. The breakfast was made with fresh ingredients and was extremely tasty. We highly recommend this B&B!
Lark and Michael are extremely gracious hosts. The breakfasts were superb and Lark sets a fabulous table. They also went out of their way to guide us in exploring the Lancaster area. We enjoyed friendly conversation with them as well. We highly recommend that you stay with them. It is likely that we will stay at their Bed and Breakfast again if we are in the area but the next time we will attempt to secure a suite.
E. J. Bowman House is a wonderful B&B from start to finish. It is in a nice neighborhood, close to town but quiet. The public rooms and bedrooms are lovingly decorated and are extremely comfortable. The breakfast was very good. Best of all, the Innkeepers were warm, present, welcoming, and full of the information travelers need. I'll go back often.
We have visited Kitchen Kettle Village several times during different seasons and have enjoyed all of them The accommodations and staff are outstanding and work to make your stay most comfortable Rooms and grounds are always immaculate and couldn't ask for better scenery We will surely be back there so much to do in the area !
We had a great time at the Amethyst Inn and were treated well. The breakfasts were very good and not just Ham and eggs. The mixed fruit compote was especially tasty. As this is an old, very large home, the stairwell was quite narrow, so some people might feel a little closed in ascending and descending. The room was comfortable and the double sized spa tub was really a treat. Thank you Tom and Wanda.
Very comfortable and inviting home. Owners very welcoming, easy to speak with, knowledgeable. Our room, the fireside room, was great! Reasonable sized, nice bathroom, very comfy bed, relaxing fireplace. I had multiple email communications w owners that response was prompt and helpful. We will return!
We stayed two nights during the week. John and Heidi were excellent hosts. The house was clean and well kept, and our room as spacious and well decorated. We would definitely recommend staying here for anyone looking for a good value in a wonderful town, hosted by two very nice and personable owners. 5 stars!
We just returned from our 3 day stay. We had a wonderful time and felt so welcomed and cared for. The breakfast was very delicious and healthy. They went above and beyond to meet our needs and make us feel like family. We loved singing around the piano in the evening. It was very neat and clean with an absolutely gorgeous view. We would highly recommend this tB&B to anyone.
The room was lovely and homey. The 5 course breakfast was delicious. We met people who's company we enjoyed. Close to all the shops with beautiful farm scenery all around you.
We stayed for an extended weekend getaway in the Victoria room. The entire experience was top notch and relaxing. Pam and Dallas were very helpful with plenty of advice about what to do and the best places to eat. The breakfasts each morning were always different and delicious. If you are planning a stay in Lancaster I would highly recommend staying here!
We have been coming to The Lititz House for 15 years and are always completely satisfied with everything. Heidi and John are great innkeepers and always accommodating. The best B&B in Lititz!
We thoroughly enjoy our stay at the Inn & Spa at Intercourse Village each and every time we visit. We rate the Inn and Spa an A+ and will continue to make use of this lovely place for hopefully a long time.
