Lovely getaway

4.0 on August 22, 2018

Our first time visiting. Beautifully restored and decorated. Very quiet. Lovely clawfoot tub, which was so relaxing after a hard day of driving. Check-in was a little odd, as proprietor was not on site, but no problem. Very nice breakfast prepared by owner's son, with friendly conversation. I would certainly stay here again.

Great place!

Very cute and up to date B&B. The room was perfect and the price you couldn't beat,. This was a much better option that anything you can get out of the hotels around Monroe. I will never stay at another place!! It was perfect!

First time in a B&B

5 on August 16, 2018

Being centrally located in the antique shopping and good dining of Monroe/West Monroe, the Hamilton House Inn provided us the perfect "babymoon" getaway before welcoming our third son. We had never stayed in a bed and breakfast before but found it to be much more relaxing and convenient than we anticipated. We enjoyed the chance to spend a full day walking the few nearby blocks and shopping antique and gift stores, get a great dinner across the street, and relax in our comfortable accommodations. The host took great care of us and we really enjoyed our conversation and breakfasts with him. We would love to return and we recommend the Hamilton House to anyone.

Best B&B ever

Wife and I stay here when we have appointments in Monroe. You can't get any better than here. Rooms are always clean and host is the best. Their breakfast is out of this world. Always will recommend staying here to everyone.

Tonya is a perfect host.

Nice stay in the old section of town.

This is a very nice inn. The rooms are upstairs, there is a balcony you can sit on in the front of the building. The rooms are well decorated. The old part of town has a few antique shops to look thru. I would not have a second thought about staying again.

Wonderful B&B

Tonya is great; beautiful setting; great location. I loved that you get to pick your breakfast time. We held my son’s rehearsal dinner in the reception gallery. It was perfect.

Anniversary trip

4.4 on June 13, 2018

The room was decorated nicely and the bathroom was clean. The room was small but it did not feel closed in. It is downtown West Monroe and is within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Breakfast was good but not outstanding. The owner was warm and personable and a joy to talk with. We definitely recommend Hamilton House for visitors to the area.

Wonderful Stay

Tonya Hamilton truly made this a wonderful bed and breakfast experience. The room was nice and comfortable, but Tonya's special touch of diffusing essential oils if we wanted and the essential oil spritzer for the sheets to guarantee a great relaxing night topped it off. Breakfasts for the three mornings we were there were great! Tonya was very personable and we enjoyed talking with her and learning the building's history. She told us some great restaurants and things to go see. We have friends in the Dallas, TX area and think Hamilton House Inn will be a great halfway point to meet and stay again. We loved the inn and Tonya!
