We stayed one night as we were traveling home. The Inn is beautiful and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Rooms were beautiful and very clean. For the price of staying in the area, this is definitely a place I will return to. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the kitchen area. While I did not dine or have the breakfast, when I arrived, the kitchen was not clean. The coffee pot had old/stale coffee left inside. There were (hopefully clean) bed linens draped over the kitchen table. Dishes were in sink. My only assumption is that the kitchen cleaning crew didn't finalize their clean up in this area. The room was quiet and very comfortable.

I came for a 4 night weekend to visit my daughter who had recently moved to the area. Wanting to stay nearby and not looking for a chain hotel, we found this gorgeous inn! The beds and bathrooms were amazing and the clawfoot tub and endless hot water were amazing after a long day in the chilly temps. Breakfast is hearty and delicious. This is my new home-away-from-home for when I come back to town!

We usually stay at one of the chain motels in Monroe, but decided to venture out and try a B&B. This place was wonderful. Our room was superb. After dinner in town we spent a long while on the back deck drinking wine and enjoying the beautiful weather and view. Sean's breakfast the next morning was fantastic. We will definitely be back!!

The room and the atmosphere of the Hamilton house makes you feel right at home. My only disappointment was the kitchen area was not clean. There was old coffee still in the coffee pot and linens draped over kitchen table. Might have just not had the opportunity to tidy up, but I expected a little more cleanliness in the kitchen. Room was very comfortable and bed was extremely soft! I will stay here again just in hopes that the kitchen area will be cleaned up better.

This was our first experience with a B&B in Monroe since we usually stay at one of the chain motels, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. No going back to the chain motels for us!

This place was one of the best places to stay. The breakfast was delicious both mornings. Our room was outstanding! We enjoyed an evening on the balcony with wine and enjoyed the antique markets within walking distance. The only thing bad about this review is when I am ready to go again it may be booked. This is a five star B&B and may have spoiled me from others.

My daughter and I took a quick weekend trip to Monroe for a little rest and relaxation. We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast so we decided to book a room at the Hamilton House Inn. It did not disappoint. From the ease of check in/out; uniqueness, beauty, and comfort of our room; nostalgia of the historical building; proximity of restaurants, antique stores, and boutiques; kindness and hospitality of the inn keepers; to the gourmet breakfast, it was a weekend we will never forget. Our only regret was that we couldn’t have stayed longer. We will definitely plan another trip soon ~ L&C Woods
