This B&B was worth every penny. Wonderful hosts and very warm and cozy atmosphere. We loved the old style of the cottage and the history, while still maintaining a high-end level of comfort. A+++++++

A good friend recommended this B&B. We were extremely pleased with everything. The breakfast was outstanding. I did not mark the questions about onsite dining because this is a B & B. Loved this place and would stay again when in the area.
Thank you so much for taking the time to do such a great review! We appreciate you!!!

We decided on a Bed and Breakfast within 2 hours of home for our anniversary. My husband found Maison D'Memoire. Our cottage was beautiful! Our rockers on the porch faced the huge pond. We felt we were the only ones there. The inside of the cottage was like stepping back into simpler times. Each room was beautiful. From stained glass to the quilt on the bed to the claw foot tub to fresh squeezed lemonade and cookies. And the breakfasts were so delicious.
Thank you for taking the time to do such a wonderful review!!! We appreciate you!!

We have stay in 3 of the 4 cottages they offer and loved all 3! We have stay in each one twice so far! We go back yearly to relax, rejuvenate, and refuel. The breakfast is awesome and they stay is so peaceful!

If every region of every state had a bed-and-breakfast like Maison de Memoire we'd plan our trips around our accommodations! The concept is simply perfect: detached cottages sharing the same verdant property yet separate enough from each other to give a true sense of privacy. Lyn's Cajun inspired hot breakfasts were delicious and conveniently delivered in a big basket to the front door each morning accompanied by a discreet knock. We would have loved to relax inside the cottage or on the wraparound porch all day but the area offers so many activities that we were compelled to venture out. Be sure to ask Lyn for recommendations; she is a font of knowledge on the restaurants, tours, and events in the area. As preservation advocates we were delighted to discover that our cottage was a "rescue", it's restoration lovingly chronicled in photos by Ron. It was well-maintained and the decor was charming. And the king bed was incredibly comfortable. We are already looking forward to our next trip to Louisiana and we would not consider staying anywhere else. Vive Maison de Memoire. Still smiling, Marianne and Jeff B.
Awe......, thank you so much for taking the time to do such a glowing review!!!! You made my day! Lyn

We had no idea that autumn cottage was on the national historical register until arriving. This was truly a place to relax and enjoy great food, great shopping for antiques and make wonderful friends. Breakfast was simply amazing.
