This was such a lucky discovery when searching for accommodations in NOLA! Not only is the Canal Street Inn beautifully furnished, the breakfasts are delicious, the inn keepers are delightful, and the location is perfect! Thank you, Monica, Michael, and Rosa for a fantastic visit. We will definitely be back!!

My wife and I where very happy with this location and the B&B. Very quite and clean. the bed was comfortable and the bathroom is clean. The breakfasts that Monica and Rosa prepare are fantastic. Micheal is funny and has lots of information about the area and surrounding areas. Monica (the owner) is a great resource for places to eat. Monica, Rosa, And Michael made us feel like part of the family. We will defiantly stay here again.

We decided to make a road trip after receiving a Texas wedding invitation and New Orleans was a city on our bucket list. We made the trip in our all-electric Tesla which makes ease of charging priority #1. We found Canal Street Inn on the Tesla 'destination charger' map, read the reviews and booked immediately. So glad we did! We arrived a too early for check-in, but Monica welcomed us with keys to our room and gave us, New Orleans newbies, ideas for a wonderful afternoon and evening. The Canal Street trolley stop (right in front of the inn) made seeing The Big Easy so convenient. The inn is delightful, breakfasts so yummy and Monica's hospitality simply heartwarming! If our travels bring us back to New Orleans, we're sure to stay here again. :) Donna Linski Virginia

The inn is lovely and in a great location. The Suite was perfect for us, especially the comfy bed! Mrs. Monica was an excellent host, she even prepared me a special ginger tea to soothe my throat after I caught a cold from staying out in the rainy weather. We will definitely be back, thanks!

Our hostess, Monica, and her staff were warm and welcoming! We enjoyed sitting outside of the Inn munching on fresh pecans, the interior of the Inn was nicely decorated, our room was very comfortable and inviting and the breakfasts were delicious! The convenience of having the streetcar stop in front of the Inn was so helpful for us to travel throughout New Orleans without a car!

Canal Street Inn exceeded my expectations. The pictures online don't give it justice. The room I stayed in was the Royal Street Room and it was beautiful. The staff was wonderful and breakfast was amazing. I slept good every night. There is nothing that I would change about the place. Thank you all for the wonderful service. Love Chardee.
Thank you for the beautiful review. I am very happy to know that you enjoyed the breakfast. Thank you again for selecting the Canal Street Inn. Monica

Fortunately we were double booked at Fleur de Lis so we were able to enjoy the superb Canal Street Inn. Monica and Christina were so helpful and such fun. They served wonderful breakfasts and suggested places to visit and to dine at. It is a fabulous old house with beautiful furnishings etc.

My husband and I stayed here three nights last week and couldn't have made a better choice. It is a large, beautiful historic home with large guest rooms with the Canal Street Streetcar stopping across the street which made for convenient traveling throughout the city. Our room was large, well furnished and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the room and attached bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was served each morning on the back screened in porch and the food was wonderful. Wine, coffee and tea was available 24 hours a day if you wanted it. The gorgeous front porch was a great place to relax and talk with other guests. Monica the owner and Christina the innkeeper are two of the main reasons this B&B made it a favorite of ours. They are both very friendly, funny and helpful. When we checked in we were told about a quickly put-together Second Line Parade and Tribute to Prince later than afternoon and we did go. This is why I prefer B&Bs to hotels. Hotel staff is most likely not to even know about local events going on but B&B owners and staff are part of the community. My husband and I own a B&B ourselves and are picky about where we stay. The Canal Street Inn met all our expectations and we definitely recommend this inn.

I can not say enough about this wonderful place. This was my first experience staying at a bed and breakfast and it was fantastic!! The minute we arrived we were warmly greeted. We instantly felt comfortable and at home. The house itself is beautiful with attention to detail. Our room was large and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and we were able to relax and enjoy the company. There were nine of us all together and we were well taken care of. I will recommend the Canal Street Inn to anyone staying in New Orleans. We will be staying there again on our next trip. A true gem and a great experience.
