My wife and I had a nice visit at First Farm Inn. We stayed Oct 24 while visiting the Creation Museum which happens to be at the same freeway exit and only about 3 miles away. We stayed in the Treehouse room on the second floor which was spacious with a big private bathroom. The breakfast was tasty with crisp bacon, french toast, juices, and fresh fruit.

We surprised my daughter for her 11th birthday because she loves horses. First Farm Inn was perfect for us. It was the most relaxing getaway we have had in years. The room accommodated our family of five easily. Jen was extremely laid back and was wonderful about giving my girls "jobs" to do with the horses. I would absolutely recommend the Inn and if you aren't lucky enough to stay, at least go ride the horses.
Thanks so much for letting us help celebrate this special birthday and add to your daughter's horse knowledge. Hopefully you can come back when its not 95 degrees and riding and porch sitting is more fun!

This is the second time we have stayed at First Farm Inn! Jen and Dana along with their critters never disappoint. It is one of the best B&Bs in the country. We always enjoy our time there and love spending time being pampered by them. Wonderful talks with Jen. Their farm is such a beautiful place and so relaxing, in a quiet, peaceful setting.

Travelling from Australia, we were looking for a place to rest and relax in between visiting major cities. First Farm Inn was a fantastic getaway, providing marvellous accommodation, wonderful breakfasts and great hosts. Our daughter loved the horses and other animals and we did lots of sightseeing in the area. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone.

First Farm Inn was a pleasure and our kids loved it. They played with the cats, the dog, the chickens, the horses and had a great time. This is an ideal place to stay if you have well-behaved kids, ours are 7 and 9 which was about the right age. The room we were in was perfect for a family of 4.

My husband and I live in Chicago and wanted to get away from the city. We decided to stay at the First Farm Inn because it looked so lovely in the pictures on the website. And it was! On the drive there, we thought we were going to get in around 7:30 pm but with daylight savings and then the hour change from Central to Eastern time, we didn’t end up arriving until 10pm (we probably called them about 4 times to let them know we were going to be later than we thought! They were so nice every time we called!). When we got there, Dana greeted us and was kind and welcoming even though it was so late. He showed us around their home and kindly asked if we needed anything. We felt immediately comfortable and at home. Breakfast was always delicious! There is always more than enough food! So good! The home is so beautiful and the animals are a joyful presence. We really enjoyed our time here and our only regret is that we didn’t go horseback riding. Beautiful area. Jen and Dana are so warm and friendly. We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before, and we had a wonderful first experience! We made great memories. Definitely stay here! Totally worth the price!

We just returned from what will be the first of many visits to this gem, located in the heart of the Tri State area First Farm is pet friendly, but you would have to see one to believe it, as this place is kept immaculate ! You will feel miles away from everything, but in reality, you are minutes away from whatever adventure you could imagine. Jen & Dana will make you feel as welcome as you could feel anywhere... great conversations, laughs & stories. (If you are lucky, Ty will be home from college, to entertain you with amazing piano performances. You may feel guilty about wanting to indulge in the AMAZING homemade breakfast, but by all means, don't deprive yourself, dig in knowing that Jen has prepared the feast with natural & healthy ingredients.! Simply put, you will not find a better time for your money!

The room was gorgeous breakfast, chosen from a robust menu, was divine. Breakfast conversation with Jen and her daughter Tatiana was charming and fun. The house and grounds are immaculate and Jen is a brilliant instructor when it comes to getting a novice like me on a horse.
