My husband surprised me with this perfect b&b on our honeymoon. Flaminia herself, is absolutely incredible! (She even surprised us with a bottle of wine). We stayed in the lower level room that overlooked the garden and awoke to yummy cappucinos and nutella crossiants every morning. Flaminia was so helpful in providing us dining information, travel ideas and most importantly, translation. Her home is absolutely beautiful- and her hospitality so charming. We can;t wait to return for an aniversary!

Beautifully styled B&B with wonderful details and exceptionally well kept. Flaminia runs the B&B and lives onsite with her young son and husband. She will guide you through your stay - making reservations, suggesting local restaurants to eat, mapping out your day, calling taxis, etc. She works around you. The B&B is not in the walled city but still within walking distance to the historical area. There is a delicious breakfast with lovely sitting area, terrace and garden. May be the best B&B in our travels!

For our first time in Europe and the trip being our first time to travel as husband and wife, my wife and I can not speak highly enough of our host Flaminia (spelling?). She was extremely helpful, and made us feel comfortable to ask any question we had. Flaminia made our reservations every night, and made sure we were accommodated in every way. The breakfast was great, with nicely made cappuccino. We stayed in the yellow room with great view of the garden and the rooftops of the beautiful Florenzian buildings. The room was spacious enough for the two of us beautifully furnished. Very satisfied with our stay!

Stayed recently on June 11, 2011 and had a wonderful time! We only wish we had stayed longer then one night! The room was so beautiful and the grounds very peaceful. Flaminia was so helpful, spoke great English and gave us many suggestions for dinner locations. We had our best meal in Italy at the place she recommended! The location was a 13 minute drive from the train station. We opted for taxi ride instead of the bus and was happy with our choice, especially since we had more luggage with us after our cruise. We got there a little before check in and Flaminia let us sit on the patio and relax and taste her homemade rolls while our room was being prepared. The next morning we had to catch a early viewing of the David at the Accademia so she had a bag prepared with a breakfast to go in it. Would love to go back again one day!
