Henderson Park Inn

Henderson Park Inn

Visitors flock to Destin for its emerald waters and white sand beaches; Henderson Park Inn, a 32-room B&B, is this bustling resort town's only beachfront property. With its Victorian-style furnishings, mansard roof and weathered shingle siding, the inn looks like it belongs in some other more romantic era. Most rooms feature sweeping ocean views and kitchenettes complete with mini-fridges and microwaves. But it's the inn's inclusive perks—complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas, bicycles to explore the roadways of neighboring Henderson Beach State Park, and a daily sunset happy hour—that have most guests extending their stay. The breakfast buffet includes made-to-order Belgian waffles and omelets, and even lunch is included in the rate. Dinner isn't included. Nonetheless, we recommend visiting the inn's Beach Walk Cafe for a leisurely dinner of grilled lobster and wine.

A full-time chef is available to whip up two meals daily for your group, and a concierge is on hand to lend bartending skills and provide regional transport to such spots as snorkeling sites and shopping locales.
