This Colonial-style property is decked in exquisite tilework and features high domed ceilings and flower-draped terraces with wide views. A reviewer advises, "A photo from the rooftop at sunset is a must." Another guest extols the rooms: "We stayed in the Santa Clara del Cobre room, which had wonderful copper pots decorating the walls. The bathroom had an incredible walk-in shower and colorful tiles from nearby Dolores Hidalgo. Our bed was extremely comfortable with crisp white linens—we even had flowers by our bed and in our bathroom!"

According to a guest, "The clean and spacious bedrooms are well decorated and the breakfast is generous and [includes] delicious pastries from the pasticceria near the hotel. QuodLibet B&B is very well located: 100 meters from a subway station and 500 meters from the Vatican." Other reviewers love the large, clean rooms, and the choice of having a communal or a private in-room breakfast. "There is a bakery right downstairs where they sell cakes and pizza very cheap," one guest writes. Another says, "[The innkeepers] provided a lot of advice on how to visit the Vatican and nearby dining. The room we got was so quiet even though the inn is on a major street."

It offers "fantastic value for a wonderful apartment in Paris," said one reviewer. A second guest calls the property "funky, spacious and well maintained, with a great host." The unique loft includes a circular bed and a very unusual bed made from a car, and guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi as well as free parking (a rarity in Paris).

A reviewer writes, "You have to see the garden to believe it! The variety of plants, the grottoes and winding paths, the manicured lawn, and colorful flowers bring in the birds. We sat by the pool every afternoon and listened to the different colorful birds calling. Hummingbirds were everywhere!" This peaceful, pretty property is praised for its authentic Mexican décor and food; relaxing, quiet ambiance; and heavenly gardens. We think this review says it best: "As a photographer, I could not have dreamed of such breathtaking and amazing gardens to wander with my camera in total otherworldly settings. We all came home raving about the fabulous hideaway in paradise that we would stay at again and again."

"If you are like me and your idea of a heavenly Italian countryside includes sweeping views of vineyards, olive groves and hill towns such as Assisi off in the distance, then Genius Loci is definitely a place you will want to visit," writes a guest. "Words that pop up again and again in reviews of this lovingly restored farmhouse in the Umbria countryside include "magical," "treasure" and "paradise." According to another guest, the inn is "off the beaten path nestled in the beautiful countryside with breathtaking views. The breakfast was outstanding with very fresh ingredients. … My favorite part was sitting outside each morning with the most perfect cappuccino and looking out over the countryside of Italy and the distant mountains adding to the beautiful landscape."

"On the first night I sat outside drinking wonderful French wine, eating delicious French cheese and Michele's homemade soup by the huge outdoor fireplace, surrounded by candles in their lovely garden," reports a guest. This peaceful chateau in Southern France receives excellent reviews for its outstand food and large, beautiful rooms, plus the great personal service provided by innkeepers. According to a guest, "The house was equipped with everything we needed. Wi-Fi worked well, there was always strong hot water, and we were even able to borrow some bikes (without charge) to get out and about a bit. The village itself was very picturesque—a great taste of upmarket rural life."

Many reviews of this Italian inn offering self-catering apartments mention over-the-top service courtesy of Villa Nuba's personable innkeeper. "Giuseppe offered to take us on a quick tour around Perugia. He showed us where to find the grocery store, bakery, fantastic pizza place, city center, bus stop, etc. When you arrive, any questions you may think you have are already addressed and answered before you can even ask. There was even a welcome basket with many staples waiting for us, which we greatly appreciated," writes a guest. Other reviewers mention the lovely outdoor pool and barbeque area, as well as the clean, airy rooms stocked with snacks and drinks. One guest says the guestrooms are "very clean, spacious with lots of features (and really useful Wi-Fi). The large bathroom had a large Jacuzzi and the bedroom had a ceiling painted with a star scene that gently revealed itself when the lights when out."
