Bed & Breakfast Pegaso - Valeggio sul Mincio, Italy

"This place is magnificent--more than we expected. The hosts Roberto and Antonella made us feel at home from the first time we met. They helped us with bus schedules and gave us hints for places to visit. Roberto cooked us great meals on request of course. This B&B is very clean, quiet and a great place for a relaxing holiday. We really enjoyed it and will surely pay another visit to this hidden jewel in the Valley of Valeggio."

Casa Lima - San Jose, Costa Rica

"My husband, son and I stayed at Casa Lima for one week. A lovely tropical courtyard and very comfortable accommodations. The staff helped tremendously with finding tours and drivers. They knew where to go in-city, and what tours were available for excursions to other places. Also, all the folks who worked there were friendly, available and so welcoming. It was like being with friends. Very upbeat, relaxing."

Casa Roa - Mexico City, Mexico

"Very friendly. We stayed here on our way to Oaxaca, we were not disappointed at all, they have a big garden...Mexico weather is rained one day and next day it was blue skies. We can see the volcanoes from the house. We got out at night with no big concerns and ate close by in a Brazilian barbeque that was superb. The place was upscale but not expensive."

Estinfil Guesthouses - Port-au-Prince, Haiti

"We had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful Estinfil Guesthouse in early July of 2012. Jude and his staff were wonderful to us and very helpful during our stay in Port-au-Prince. Each day our schedule was different and they were very flexible to accommodate us with varying meal times. Both the sleeping rooms and common areas were always kept clean and we felt like part of the "family" while there. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Haiti. Thanks for everything, Jude, and we hope to see your smiling face again soon."

Le Roulage - Longueville, France

"The perfect place to relax and enjoy the pleasures of nature in a charming, eye-catching, captivating atmosphere where the owners do anything to make your stay unforgettable (Daniel taking care of their beautiful garden and Janine preparing her beautiful breakfasts). And this is all at just a few minutes' drive from the most interesting places in Normandy. There is no other place we would recommend to go and we will surely come back as soon as we have the chance!!! Thanks again for the beautiful moments!!!"

LIPPERGÜT'L - Füssen, Germany

"Our road trip had taken in such places as Budapest, Salzburg, Ljubljana and Bled--but this was definitely one of the highlights. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like guests of honor. Colin and Renate were wonderful, showing us around the place and giving us advice on things to do in the area. The house itself is absolutely exquisite--my wife and I are big fans of old homes; Colin was kind enough to give us an insight into the renovation work involved. The breakfast was incredible--homemade preserves, freshly cut fruit salad, wonderful a six-star rating possible please??!! HIGHLY recommended--we hope to go back in the winter for some peaceful relaxation in a beautifully scenic area."

Los Artistas B & B - Ajijic, Mexico

"We have stayed in B&Bs in Ajijic in the past, but Los Artistas is absolutely the BEST!! The grounds are breathtaking to see with the staff keeping everything immaculate. The main house and rooms are very authentic in the Mexican tradition and are very clean and comfortable. The staff is excellent, very efficient and so quiet. The wonderful cook even made chilaquiles, our favorite Mexican dish, for breakfast on our last day. The hosts, Kent and Linda, are the best. Our conversations were stimulating and entertaining. They took care of our every need. We love Ajijic and will not stay in any other B&B but the Los Artistas. We have highly recommended Los Artistas to our co-workers and friends. Ajijic is the perfect destination with Los Artistas being the perfect B&B in the area."

Maison Maurice - Biron, France

"Thank you Penny and Adrian (and Molly the dog!) for another lovely break. We visit Maison Maurice at least once a year on our way down from the UK to the south or back. Our two young children invariably cheer when we get to the village because they know they are going to be spoiled rotten by these lovely people, who go out of their way to make sure everyone in the family is well looked after. For that reason, the children tend to behave very well, meaning we can really relax. All the rooms are spotless and tastefully decorated and the garden a gorgeous oasis of calm where, if you visit in summer, you can enjoy an alfresco breakfast or dinner. We go for walks and visit the local beaches but always try to get back for dinner at Maison Maurice because Penny really is a fab cook. I always come away with a few new recipes written down and sometimes cuttings from the garden. An excellent B&B. Highly recommended. Whoever you are and whatever your circumstances I can guarantee Penny and Adrian will make you feel welcome."

Villa Los paraisos - La Puebla de Cazalla, Spain

"My husband and I stayed for a week at this charming bed and breakfast. Mrs. Grahame-Dunn [the innkeeper] couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable and the food excellent. We were able to eat outside in a lovely shaded area, the food was excellent and varied. Although only a few minutes from a busy road, we felt as though we were miles from anywhere surrounded by cotton fields. The pool was a bonus, as was the hot tub. A short walk down the road was a very friendly, local bar/restaurant."
