Bed and Breakfast Valencia Mindfulness Retreat - Valencia, Spain

Bed and Breakfast Valencia Mindfulness Retreat

"As first time visitors in Valencia we booked a 7 days stay with Thijs and Dany. They were so kind and helpful we couldn't have wished for anything better. The atmosphere in this B&B is very warm and cozy; the hosts will make you feel at home immediately. They also provide their guests with lots of tips regarding the best restaurants, transport and activities in Valencia.

The breakfast was overwhelming, lots of fresh fruits, homemade bread, yoghurt, eggs, cheeses, meat, cereal, pastry, cava, coffee, steamed milk, orange juice... anything one could wish for. The nicely decorated rooms and comfortable beds guarantee a good night of sleep. Our bathing room was very clean and fresh towels were provided daily. The B&B is located in a quiet street in the middle of Valencia's historical center, however it only takes a few minutes walk to get to the Turias, Plaza Virgen, Plaza de la Reina and lots of lovely restaurants, bars and shops. The beach can be reached in approximately 15 minutes by cab, bike or subway. Truly a hidden treasure in a beautiful city! We will definitely go back!"

Canto De Luz - Porto, Portugal

Canto De Luz

"We spent two days at Canto De Luz. It's located near the centre and very close to the metro. The house is beautiful: peaceful and quiet. It's an old house completely renovated. The kitchen faces a garden and it's the best place of the building.

The rooms are new and elegantly furnished (including parentesi lamps) and have an awesome private terrace. Brigitte and Andre are very kind and friendly and they recommended us curious places to visit! The breakfast is specially good: fruit, orange juice, jam, toast, cake and yogurt. The jam, cake and yogurt are homemade. Delicious!"

LIPPERGÜT'L - Fuessen, Germany

"My husband and I stayed for two days in early November. We wanted something close to the castles and the reviews sounded terrific. The stay was even better than the reviews. The countryside was gorgeous and quaint. The Jackson's home is lovely and very inviting. Colin and Renata really are people hosts and have a true passion for what they do.

Breakfast was outstanding and very welcoming, we shared the dining room with another couple the first morning and probably could have stayed and talked all morning. We were treated to a mini musical concert our second night as our hosts were practicing for an upcoming concert. If we are ever planning a trip to the area we will be sure to stay again."

Posada Monterico - Lima, Peru

Posada Monterico

"If you are fortunate enough to stay with these wonderful people in their beautiful home, consider yourself lucky. The home is an oasis in the middle of Lima. You can be in the hustle of the city all day, and come home to gardens, a pool, and greenery.

The owners are exceptional hosts and exceptional people. We felt like family there. They have excellent suggestions for dining and sight-seeing, arrange a driver for their guests (we pay, but it is cheap), and provide a safe and welcoming haven for their guests. Highest praise. "

Sollihogda Bed & Breakfast - Sollihogda, Norway

"We had an amazing time with Marianne and Roy in their lovely cottage. The cottage is bigger than some houses so everything you need is there. The environment is fantastic if you love nature like we do. The lake is perfect to cool down in warm days which even Norway has. What a nice surprise!

We never met such hospitality before! You can ask whatever you want, Marianne and Roy will help you and you definitely feel at home from the first second! There is one crazy big dog but even our daughter that is afraid of animals became friends with that big sweet animal! Lots of kisses for Marianne and Roy and we are certainly coming back!!"

Villa Menorah - Larnaca, Cyprus

Villa Menorah

"We had the most wonderful four nights staying in Villa Menorah where we experienced truly warm hospitality. We stayed in a beautifully appointed room with a large veranda overlooking village and hills and were thoroughly spoiled.

Having mentioned we were celebrating our silver anniversary, we arrived home one day to find a bottle of sparkling rose on a silver tray left out for us by Sandra. Our stay was punctuated by these acts of thoughtfulness and was the icing on the cake of a special holiday. Breakfast was delicious and varied with great coffee. We can highly recommend Villa Menorah as a lovely relaxing place to stay."
