My stay was well worth the money. The B & B is very clean, the room was very nice and loved the bedding, sheets and towels. The help was so helpful and kind. (Jo). Would definitely stay there again. Thankful for a nice and enjoyable stay. A coupon was supplied for our free breakfast at one of their restaurants.

We found this bed and breakfast to be a great experience. It is extremely convenient to shopping. The house is very comfortable including our room. The lady that we met frequently (do not remember her name) was very cordial and professional and gave us a lot of ideas of the best places to eat in the area. Will definitely consider staying at the Allison House again.

My wife and I have started making a habit of spending the night in Nashville after moving our son into his dorm at IU. We picked Allison House Inn to be our place this year and really enjoyed it. Our room was in perfect shape. One thing I thought was funny was that the Bluebird in Sumac room (where we were staying) did not have a picture of bluebirds in sumac, but when we checked out the closet connected to the bathroom it was in there (along with the Bluebird in Dogwood picture). I would recommend hanging it back up somewhere in the room where it belongs. Loved the pictures in there but would like to see it back in its rightful place. Shower worked great and our bed was very comfortable. We used the certificate for breakfast the next day at the Artist Colony Inn and the food was fantastic. The nice lady working in the kitchen when we first got there was very pleasant as well. One thing I might recommend is having a small folding tv tray like table in the room to have so people can maybe use it as a stand for a lap top or to write on. Over all a wonderful stay. We really did enjoy ourselves.

We loved our stay at the Allison House. The Honeymoon Suite was an an amazing place to stay for friends who wanted to catch up for a long weekend of shopping and enjoying a relaxing time. The extra pull out bed was pretty comfortable and great for one person. It was so nice to have two couches in our little suite. Thanks for a great stay.

Well maintained old home, close to everything yet far enough to have quiet evenings on the porch. Our room and the common areas where very clean and comfortable. We will choose the Allison House for all our future visits to Brown County and Bloomington IN.

Quick getaway trip to Nashville on Monday, stayed in the Alonzo Suite. Private entrance, very nice room with a big bathroom. Had a little trouble finding it--thanks to my GPS. Got an immediate response from the owner. I think we were the only ones there. Was given a certificate for breakfast with several choices. We ate at the Artist Colony Inn which was excellent. Would definitely go back and stay at the Allison House Inn.

Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was satisfactory. Room was too small, creating some difficulty with storing our personal items. Would have liked to have known kitchen was available for our use ahead of time; this was not advertised. Common areas exceeded expectations because we were the sole guests. These features could be better advertised as well.

We stayed at Allison House for two nights. Our room and the house were very clean. The location can’t be beat. It is conveniently within walking distance to everywhere downtown. We would definitely stay there again. Great experience!
