Nice, overpriced

3.0 on August 23, 2018

Rooms are nice, but not especially guest-friendly. Bedroom had no chair other than a small bench seat, no trash container. When we reported a small hole in bottom of top sheet after first night, we were told it would be changed. It wasn't. Bathroom had only a tiny work area, not enough room for two adults. Service in restaurant was spotty. Won't be back, nor will we recommend..

Innkeeper Response
Thank you so much for your helpful feedback. I am very sorry that your needs were not taken care of; this is certainly not the norm and the matter has been reviewed with staff. I'd love to hear more feedback from your stay; please feel free to reach out to me at

We really enjoyed our stay at Brick Street Inn. The check-in was super quick, room was spacious and the location was perfect for wondering the streets of Zionsville. We would definitely stay here again! The free breakfast was delicious although plan to be there awhile because it took awhile for our food. It was worth the wait though.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you so much for your great review! We hope you feel like home when you stay with us. We apologize for the wait for your food, and hope you can give us another chance to change that experience for you! We hope to see you again very soon. :)

Wonderful stay

We really had a wonderful stay at Brick Street Inn. And our morning chef took great care of us and provided us with wonderful breakfasts. We were truely spoiled!

Cute and convenient inn located in the middle of Zionsville's downtown

4.0 on July 06, 2018

Had a nice stay at the Brick Street Inn. For a couple or single person who want to be in Zionsville, this cannot be beat. We enjoyed the onsite breakfast very much (but the ordering instructions/process could be clearer), walkability to local shops/restaurants, very clean room, and friendly nature of the staff. The only quirks were that the main desk was not manned for a good portion of the time we were there (including when we first tried to check in and another time when I had a question in the afternoon) and the operations of our room thermostat were a bit weird (although they tried to explain during check-in). I'm sure if something ever became a big issue, we could have called someone from the hotel. We enjoyed the quality and convenience of our stay very much. Likely will stay there again when visiting relatives in town.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you so much for your awesome review! We're always happy to get feedback so that we can continuously work on our training and the service we provide and we will definitely be taking everything you said into consideration! We would be happy to help you with anything at all when you're here with us next and hope we can fix those things next time. Thank you again for your continued business with us and we can't wait to see you again!

Absolutely wonderful experience!

Stayed Friday and Saturday night and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast each morning (breakfast included with stay). Saturday night we had dinner reservations downstairs and had fantastic Tuna Tartare and Steak and Frites! Great service, clean rooms, and all right downtown in charming Zionsville! We will be back!

"Heaven on Earth"

5 on February 27, 2018

It was absolutly amazing. The staff was very sweet and the room was so clean. It was the perfect get away. Our waiter Dominic (for breakfast) was hands down the best waiter we have ever had. Very attentive and made the stay that much better! Will stay here again for sure. Thanks for making our aniversary amazing!

Innkeeper Response
We're so glad your anniversary was amazing. We hope to see you next year.

I Will Be Back!

4.8 on February 01, 2018

Spent a long weekend here with my husband. We only planned a getaway from the kids in Indianapolis, where we had not really spent much time before. The Inn accommodated our late night arrival perfectly, we had great parking, the rooms were exceptionally clean. The bathroom was a bit small, but no big deal. My only room complaint was that we stayed in the front (streetside) of the Inn, just above the restaurant. It was not quiet. But I didn't have problems sleeping, even though I'm a light sleeper. They placed a white noise machine in the room, though we did not even resort to it. The details were thoughtful (snack table in the hall, great lounge on the first floor), the breakfasts were very good (point off from the dining score for very inauthentically French meal in Auberge one night), the restaurant has lap blankets and heaters for outdoor dining, and Zionsville was adorable and not too far from the action. I look forward to going back soon!

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for for review. We really appreciate your comments and hope to see you again.

Wonderful Stay

4.8 on December 01, 2017

We had a wonderful stay at Brick Street Inn. Everything was immaculate, the food at the restaurant was wonderful, both for dinner and breakfast. I did think the prices were a bit high for the size of the room, but overall it was great!

Innkeeper Response
Thanks for sharing your experiences. We really appreciate it.

Lovely B&B

4.2 on October 27, 2017

Room and staff were lovely, breakfast was the only disappointment. Scrambled eggs tasted a little odd and both my wife and I had a tummy ache for most of the morning :-(. I guess the lesson learned here is if eggs taste odd, stop eating them!

Innkeeper Response
We strive to have every guest leave happy; so I wish you had said something while you were here about your breakfast. Our eggs are farm fresh local eggs and I have passed the information to the Chef.

- Sheila, Innkeeper (innkeeper)

lovely Inn in a beautiful little village, ad close enough to Indy for good day trips.

4.2 on October 25, 2017

My only complaint was about the restaurant weekend brunches, where the options were, honestly, so odd, and not really tasty (peanut butter and jelly waffles? a teeny tiny yogurt offering with a spoonful of granola....). On Monday morning they had good old fashioned eggs and other options. I wish they wouldn't try so hard on the weekends.

Innkeeper Response
Auberge serves a French inspired brunch in weekends and as French Restaurant, some choices might seem odd compared to regular American fare. We have changed the menu since opening to include more Traditional options so we hope you’ll give it another try,?

Birthday visit

5 on October 23, 2017

This was our second time to stay at Brick Street Inn, and we are already planning our third visit! You instantly know your stay is going to be pleasant when you're greeted at the door with such kind and accommodating staff. The kitchen staff also went out of their way to prepare a "child's" breakfast and a "to go" breakfast for an early departure. We will be making Zionsville our second home now that two sweet granddaughters have moved there. . .thanks Brick Street for making our "home away from home" fabulous!

Enjoyed Zionsville

39th Wedding Anniversary

5 on October 05, 2017

We had a lovely evening in Zionsville celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary. It was a beautiful fall day so we were able to walk the streets, enjoy the culinary delights and relax in a well-appointed guest room. Very pleased with our stay - we will be back!

Brick Street Inn was absolutely delightful! A+++

5 on September 26, 2017

We stayed at the Brick Street Inn on our way to Chicago and found Zionsville to be a charming surprise. The Brick Street Inn was beautiful, inviting and the staff more than accommodating. Room 3 was quiet, bright and large windows that looked out over cobblestoned Main Street. Our bed was comfortable and the sheets were absolute the best I have ever felt. Breakfast was made to order and delicious. The Inn is right in town, walking distance to shops, wine bar and great restaurants. We can't wait to go back and highly recommend for a weekend stay or a break from the highway hotels.

Brick Street Inn - Room 3

5 on September 25, 2017

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent! Clean, wonderfully appointed, great staff, delicious breakfast. I will continue to stay here while on business each time I come. I've been raving about this place to my family and work friends. Thank you for making this former Zionsville resident feel like they are back at home.

Relax and Enjoy

4.4 on August 05, 2017

Very clean and comfortable little inn nestled on Main Street in Zionsville. Easy walk to a fun local winery or several good local restaurants. Friendly staff greets you and provides great service. The only minor issue is that parking in the popular area near the hotel is inconvenient. Otherwise relax and enjoy!

Brick Street was great

5 on August 01, 2017

Wonderful boutique in a terrific setting. A great change from the typical travel motel. The Mexican Café was terrific and convenient. There is a great place down the street for ice cream. Small-town hospitality at it's best!

Innkeeper Response
We're so glad you enjoyed your time with us and hope to see you again. We love the Village too!

Perfect respite

5 on July 02, 2017

After a week long family reunion at Culver, we wanted to visit my dad who lives outside Zionsville, but not stay with him. This stay was our own oasis; my husband said it was his best night sleep in ages! Options in this area are limited...this is clearly the best. We look forward to coming back.

Innkeeper Response
I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to seeing you again.

What a Gem!

4.8 on June 19, 2017

I go to the Indy 500 every year. I normally stay at my friends house in Zionsville, but they recently got a couple cats and I am allergic. Therefore I wanted to find a place in Zionsville that was close to my buddy's, walking distance to the action, clean, comfortable and just plain easy. I hit a Home Run with The Brick Street Inn. Place is great, Service was over the top friendly and the location is untouchable. Looking forward to the 102nd Running of the Greatest Spectacle in Racing and all I need is a plane ticket because I know where I am staying. Cheers, chris

Innkeeper Response
We'll see you next year.

Loved Zionsville. Loved the Inn. Friendliness, so so. Breakfast so so. Oj n fruit ok Entrees store bought n micro waved. Not what we expected.

Innkeeper Response
Thanks so much for letting us know about your stay. Our breakfasts are and have always been from scratch. WE do however use the microwave to reheat items such as quiche, breakfast casserole, croissants, muffins, and items such as these.

A great little getaway

4.8 on April 25, 2017

Zionsville is a charming little town with shops and restaurants (and even a great hair salon or two) and a perfect little getaway...the kind of place you want to stay in the middle of and Brick Street Inn is perfect for that. The beds were incredible and the amenities were first class. We loved it and will definitely be back.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for the glowing review. We love to hear from our customers. We will look forward to seeing you again.

- Sheila (innkeeper)

A great experience!

4.8 on April 13, 2017

Firstly, my husband is not a fan of B&Bs and is very particular about our hotel facilities. I booked this as a surprise for him and he actually ended up loving the experience more than I ever would have imagined! The innkeeper was friendly and ready for us when we walked in. The rooms were clean, private, and beautiful! The facility is a renovated old house that has been meticulously kept up to date yet keeps the old charm. There was a fully stocked snack and coffee bar available for everyone. My husband enjoyed a wonderful one night staycation here and plan to do so again!

Cannot wait to return

Fantastic Find in North Indianapolis (Zionsville)

4.0 on April 02, 2017

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at the Brick Street Inn, it is set in the center of downtown Zionsvilles allowing you the opportunity to walk to multiple unique restaurants and shops. I usually stay here during the week due to business travel and this place allows you to feel like you are at home while away from home. Always a treat to stay here.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for your kind review.

We stayed at the Brick Street Inn on New Year's Eve. Our room overlooked the beautiful brick street in the Village of Zionsville. The room was perfect and the service was great. Brick Street is home away from home

4.8 on September 12, 2016

I live in Louisville, but work for a company in Zionsville, so I travel to Zionsville quite frequently. When I stay at The Brick Street, it's like a home away from home. They are very friendly and accommodating. Patrick's, the restaurant downstairs offers a delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner. I highly recommend the Brick Street Inn!

Best night's sleep!

4.0 on May 30, 2016

I've stayed twice in room #5 and have had the est sleep ever! The bed is heavenly!! First time we stayed I mentioned that there was nothing to put your toiletries on besides the floor or toilet seat, which was a minus. Next time we stayed there was a hook on the back of the door AND a small attractive round table in the bathroom to place your toiletries on. Great improvement!

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for your comments, so glad you liked the additions to our bathrooms. We're looking forward to seeing you again.

- Sheila (General Manager)

Perfect in every way!

great location to get into downtown. staff is great and the facility is beautiful

Great place to stay. Food could be improved upon.

2.8 on April 18, 2016

Overall we had a nice visit and would stay again. I would just suggest to work on the details, as we all know it's the little things that matter. For example, there was a welcome note/card to greet us in our room, however it was addressed to other guests, the water in the hallway was not hot so we could not make coffee or tea, and the restaurant completely messed up my breakfast order twice. First they lost it and then prepared it completely differently than explained. Even though it was a request for vegan options, turns out both items were regular menu items, so they didn't even to turn out to be something out of the ordinary. Also vegan options were very lacking and will make or break our decision to stay again. We have found that most restaurants keeping up to date now are offering delicious vegan options. This is different from vegetarian and gluten free. Thank-you for your time. Overall it is a beautiful establishment and the Inn staff was fabulous!

Innkeeper Response
With the advance effort I put into communicating your dietary preferences to Patrick's, I was very disappointed to hear that you felt they missed the mark. Vegan menu options, however, are not a highly requested item and while Patrick’s has many vegetarian options, the kitchen staples are limited by necessity to ingredients used in preparation in the normal daily preparations of their menu items. While I understand the frustration of the breakfast ticket mix-up, I’m not sure I understand why receiving a regular menu option was disappointing, given that our agreed option was a veggie sauté. With regard to the inability to get hot water for coffee or tea from the H2O machine, when maintenance investigated they found the hot water button had been pushed off. Hot water was immediately available once the button was pushed back on. There is also a commercial Keurig on the Pantry table next to the H2O machine with an unlimited water supply, over 30 K-cup varieties of coffee and tea and other hot beverages. Hot water only can be dispensed directly from the Keurig for use with the over 16 premium tea bag varieties available on the same table. This option was in working order when checked minutes after you delivered your comments at checkout. I understand that buttons can sometimes be confusing and apologize for the difficulties you experienced. I think you will find if you read our reviews on Bed and Breakfast dot com and Trip Advisor that we do score very highly in attention to detail. I personally hand write a note to each arriving guest daily and have never had a mix-up. The note card in your room was inadvertently mixed up with the departing guest’s card by a housekeeper working her 2nd day on the job. She threw away yours and left theirs in its place. It's understanding from your perspective that this would be a disappointment and for that I offer my most sincere apology. I appreciate your taking the time to tell me about your experience.

New Year's Eve

5 on January 04, 2016

My wife and I, along with her parents, had a delightful stay at the Brick Street Inn on New Year's Eve. The location is perfect for shopping at Zionsville's quaint shops and just minutes away from our evening at Beef and Boards Dinner Theater. We loved our rooms (Sheila was gracious enough to upgrade us to adjoining rooms). The complimentary breakfast was cooked to order and topped of our stay. We look forward to a return visit.

Innkeeper Response
I hope the play was memorable. We loved having all of you at the Inn and look forward to seeing you again. Happy New Year.

Romantic get away close to home.

5 on August 24, 2015

My husband and I shared a quaint get away for the weekend for our anniversary at a beautiful bed and breakfast in Zionsville Indiana. The Brick Street Inn was everything we needed to just enjoy a quiet weekend together in a well kept friendly bed and breakfast located in the heart of a quaint town full of shopping and great restaurants. Breakfast was served on the front lawn patio where we could enjoy watching shoppers coming and going from shop to shop as well as enjoying the local farmer's market.

Perfect weekend

4.6 on August 17, 2015

Our stay was wonderful, perfect location and excellent service. We were even helped with a late night dessert. i would and am recommending to everyone I know. The only thing I would change would be the service in the restaurant. I had lunch and 2 breakfasts there and the service was sub par. Might have just been a new girl though.

Innkeeper Response
Glad you enjoyed the dessert. We'll look forward to your return.

Cutest B&B and best experience!!

5 on May 10, 2015

We stayed at the Brick Street Inn for my husband's birthday. Not only was the town of Zionsville very quaint with plenty to do there, it is not far from Indianapolis (which was our main intent). Brick Street Inn was just a lovely place to stay for the night. The Innkeeper was extremely nice and accomodating. They had a lot of complimentary things that made it worth paying a little more than we normally would. They also provided a killer complimentary breakfast the next morning. I would recommend this Inn to ANYONE!

Innkeeper Response
Thanks for taking time to comment on your experience at the Inn. We love hearing how much our guests enjoy their time in Zionsville and at the Inn. We hope to see you in the future.

Wish we were staying more than one night!

5 on May 09, 2015

Our stay at this B&B was very nice. The room was large, clean, bright and quiet. The bathroom was also very nice and my only complaint would be that it took a long time for the water to heat up in the shower. Ammenities were fantastic and included a variety of snacks and drinks. The town this B&B is located in is very quaint and has many little shops to peruse. We arrived after 5:00pm so many of them were closed but I hope to return and stay for a couple nights to enjoy them and more of the restaurants. We went to a local winery (walking distance) and very much enjoyed a wine tasting before returning to the B&B for dinner...which was also very tasty!

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for telling us about your experience at the Inn. Rest assured I will look into the hot water issue. We just replaced the water heaters at the end of March and I'm very concerned about the hot water delivery to the rooms. Thank you for bringing that to our attention as I've not heard this before. Be assured it will be resolved immediately.

Charming Inn

4.0 on May 04, 2015

We stayed in room 3, The room was really nice, but it was directly over the restaurant which was noisy on a Saturday night. Great location in the downtown district.

Innkeeper Response
Thanks for taking the time to tell us about your experience. My sincere apologies for the restaurant noise. That is the exception and not the rule, we had a very busy night with a large party celebrating. Our quiet hours start at 11pm and they did go a bit over.

Wonderful Experience

5 on March 25, 2015

My wife and I were very happy that we chose the Brick Street Inn for a one night getaway. A beautiful room with a comfortable bed! Coffee, tea, soda and snacks were a surprise treat. The personal service at breakfast in Patrick's was outstanding! We finished the stay with some shopping that my wife loved. Definitely, a wonderful experience.

Very nice and quaint.

3.6 on March 18, 2015

We stayed in Room 6 which has a view to alley in rear. Still very lovely room with lots of natural light. We did not see much of staff but we were greeted kindly and accommodated well. Room was clean and bed was comfortable as expected. Felt like a master bedroom rather than a hotel. I I had to critique... It would only be that I wished there were robes. The coffee is in a common area and we felt like we needed to get dressed to make coffee. But other than that it was very nice.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you so much for taking the time to tell us about your stay. We offer use of plush robes during your stay upon request, as noted in the in-room guest directory.

This was my first time staying at the Brick Street Inn and it was a pleasure. The room and other accommodations were very good. It was nice to have a restaurant as part of the facility. Two minor items -- the Inn touts flat screen TVs in the rooms but my room did not have flat screen; it was a somewhat older TV but worked fine. Also, there was no easy way to get a boarding pass printed. The person at the front desk during the evening said she was not sure how to do this, so she asked me to wait until morning when another person would be there. That wasn't convenient for me. Again, no big problems but worth noting as FYI.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback. Our televisions are Sharp X-Flat's and do have a flat screen, but they are CRT's and therefore don't mount to the wall. The Inn office is always happy to assist in printing boarding passes and I offer my apologies for our newest staff member being unfamiliar with how to print a boarding pass. We are working toward an area on the 2nd floor where guests can print their passes at a workstation.

British Charm in an American Artist Colony

4.8 on October 13, 2014

The leaves were changing, the air was crisp, and the comfort of a British-style inn made our October weekend perfect. Brick Street Inn more than met our wildest dream of an Autumn stay. Zionsville, located about 15 minutes north of Indianapolis, is a dreamy country community with pubs, books stores, quaint restaurants, boutiques, and artist's galleries. Pictures don't come close to the awesome surroundings and amazingly hospitable staff. I enjoyed the beverage station with an amazing selection of teas, coffees, and hot chocolates to drink, waters and sodas to quench what ever sort of thirst you own. Downstairs, a tavern-style restaurant awaits your command and serves up excellent tasting gastronomy treats that warm the belly and the taste buds. Prices are a bit steep, so bring a credit card for a bill for two, with drinks and dessert that will run $$$. The morning breakfast has a great selection and the serving sizes are perfect. All-in-all, a wonderful treat, honeymoon destination, birthday gift, or a "let's get out of Indy" stay. Happy Trails!

Innkeeper Response
Thanks so much for taking the time to tell others of your experience at our Inn. Your words paid the perfect picture of our charming community and Inn. We hope to see you again in the future.

pricey for what you get

3.8 on August 25, 2014

The room and bathroom were very cramped. Other rooms may be much better and larger. The people were friendly and it was very clean. I though it was overpriced. We have stayed at Inns all across the country and while it was a nice stay, the room was very quiet and the bed was great for sleeping, the furniture was a little large for the room and bathroom was tiny. Most Inns have different prices for various rooms--this room was overpriced for the value.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. It is very much appreciated.

We are from Indiana but now live in Denver. Staying in Zionsville was definitely a vacation - even though we were traveling for business - the best of both worlds!

A wonderful stay!

5 on April 01, 2014

We had a number of family members stay at The Brick Street Inn for an engagement party. Sheila and her staff were wonderful in accommodating all of us. The rooms themselves were just great..comfortable beds, quiet and very clean, nice furnishings, and everything updated. Plenty of room to move around in, as well. The setting of the Brick Street Inn on Main St. in Zionsville is just perfect. There are a number of nice restaurants and shops to visit during your stay. Speaking of restaurants, the complimentary breakfast the next day was very good, and made to order. Several in the group also had dinner at Patricks the evening we arrived, and everyone enjoyed their meal. The food was delicious, and the service was wonderful. We certainly hope to be able to stay at the Brick Street Inn again!

50th Wedding Anniversary

5 on March 25, 2014

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with a reception at the Brick Street Inn on Sunday, March 23. The banquet rooms are beautiful architecturally and their combined size was intimate yet large enough for our guests to move around the food stations and to visit with others. The fireplace provided a nice backdrop for pictures. The service was fine and the food provided by Patrick's was delicious and beautifully presented. Linda & Larry, Indianapolis

Excellent B&B

I recently held a small wedding at the Brick Street Inn. The staff and management of the Inn were wonderfully accomodating, the guest rooms were lovely, and the food from Patrick's was excellent! Couldn't ask for more!

Great place to stay, highly recommend

Charming but NOISY

4.2 on October 03, 2013

The walls are super thin in this Inn...we could hear every word of guests passing our room in the hallway. And they don't have doors between the Inn part of the place and the restaurant/pub part so we felt as if we were IN the restaurant while we were in our rooms. You can't sleep until before/after the restaurant is closed....noise from the set up of the restaurant starts at 7:30 a.m. each morning, including weekends. NO FUN!! The staff is remarkable, however. They were exceedingly accommodating and helpful....they can't help the thin walls either. Breakfast was delicious. The location is awesome. We'll come back to eat but not stay.

wonderful experience at the Brick Street Inn

5 on September 10, 2013

My wife and I decided to celebrate our 56th wedding anniversary with a weekend stay at the Brick Street Inn. This was our first visit to Zionsville, IN. As the above ratings indicate, the Inn was perfect in every way. We are already planning another stay.

Great wedding night accomodation

4.4 on August 27, 2013

We absolutely loved our stay at the Brick Street Inn. The rooms were lovely, clean, modern, of high quality, and had classic touch. The bed was also very comfortable. Our only issue was with check-in. Through our own fault, we neglected to check in earlier in the day (even though we ate at the B&B's restaurant, Patricks), due to wedding stress. We arrived a little after mid-night and had difficulty contacting the manager in order to be let in to the hotel. Eventually, everything worked out, but I thought I might suggest that with wedding couples, it would be a good idea to provide the hotel code and information about an unlocked room with key inside in the confirmation email. It seemed that we weren't the only newly-weds to have this problem, and since I felt terrible waking the manager up to get into our room, that this might be a possible solution. Great stay overall though. Would 100% recommend it!

Our stay at the Brick Street Inn could not have been more perfect. The Inn and its staff were warm and inviting. Our room was beautiful and met all the needs of a comfortable stay. Breakfast the next morning was delicious! The sunflower garden outside our window was an unexpected bonus! We will definitely make this a weekend getaway...maybe this fall for the holidays!

Definitely my favorite place to stay in Zionsville! The stay was really comfortable and clean. The restaurant downstairs has the best service and food in town!

Worth the visit

4.2 on May 22, 2013

It is a VERY clean & staff friendly inn. As this was our first experience with a B& B, we didn't know what to expect. The rooms are uniquely furnished and the linens are top grade. It was convenient to have a full service restaurant connected to the Inn even though it was not owned or run by the Inn. A street art & craft show was taking place just outside and made our weekend visit a lot of fun

Review of Mother's Day Weekend Visit

4.2 on May 21, 2013

The Brick Street Inn is a lovely Bread and Breakfast in Zionsville, IN. I hope to return one day if I am in the area. The staff is extremely pleasant and the food at Patrick's Kitchen was excellent. I highly recommend it to all!

Very comfortable Inn to stay at

4.8 on May 20, 2013

Small Inn, 8 rooms, but a pleasure to stay at. Interior walls furnished in a high quality wood paneling and room was very clean with a comfortable bed. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Patrick's Restaurant which is on premises was excellent and convenient. Travel to Indy frequently for family visits and would stay here again.

New to Zionsville

3.4 on May 17, 2013

I was told about the Brick Street in by my realtor who was showing me around the area. The restaurant connected to the Inn is quite nice and the outdoor patio is very relaxing on a warm night. Kat was very helpful at the front desk. I would stay at the Inn again in the future.

Brick Street Inn sadly had potential, but a long way to go...

2.4 on March 07, 2013

I stayed at the Brick Street Inn last week and had a very unusual experience. The check-in was nice and quick. Friendly gal showed me to my room. Room was clean, nice and spacious. I noticed the Inn was quiet and found that I was one of two guests staying in the Inn that night. In the morning I awoke to a loud garbage truck (6am) that stayed for almost an hour in the alley next to my room picking up trash. Very, very loud. I couldn't understand why I was placed in the back corner of the Inn with the garbage schedule the way that it was, and given that the Inn literally had only one other guest. Frustrated, I thought maybe I would mention it to the girl on-call so that other guests could be warned for future stays. Breakfast was an altogether different experience. When my office booked this B&B, I was told it included breakfast. When I came down to eat breakfast at the Inn at 8:30am, I was greeted with two people mopping the floor with all the chairs on the tables. They told me 'no breakfast'. When i grabbed the girl at the front, she told them to make me something. Very, very awkwardly, I sat down and ordered an omelet. 5 minutes later they brought out breakfast and not only was it cold and thrown together, it wasn't at all what I ordered. Finally I simply left and went down the street and purchased breakfast somewhere else. In full disclosure, the Inn did reimburse my breakfast cost and stated they were sorry and that the guy that handles breakfast for the guests of the Inn had overslept and that there was no breakfast that day. Bottom line, strangest B&B experience I have ever had. Uncomfortable and awkward. Charming place, but needs some really good management and customer service overhaul.

A very relaxing and welcoming inn

5 on January 30, 2013

What really stood out about this inn was just how welcoming and friendly all the staff was. They were polite and conversational without being obsequious. The ability to dine "on site" in Patrick's restaurant on the ground floor was definitely a plus. The food was tasty and good quality. The bartenders were knowledgeable about their liquors and beers. Last but not least the room was extremely clean and tasteful and the bed was extremely comfortable. A memorable stay.

Unique expérience

Brick Street Inn is a uniquely charming B&B. As a seasoned travel I was pleasantly surprised with the Inn as well as the town of Zionsville. The area offers unique dinning, shops and galleries. It's location is perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Outstanding place great service. Very clean.

Stayed for a week over Christmas

5 on December 28, 2012

We stayed for a week over Christmas 2012 in Room 3, and had a wonderful time. The room was large and clean with plenty of room to hang and store our clothes. The en suite bathroom was clean, with good water pressure and hot water that never ran out. The heat setting was in the room and was very responsive when we changed the temperature. There was a large TV with lots of stations in the room. Patrick's was a good place to eat. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner there. The staff of the Inn and the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. There was a nice library downstairs which was very comfortable for reading. We will be back.

Fantastic...just what we needed on Christmas night!

5 on December 27, 2012

We were able to stay at Brick Street Inn for Christmas Eve and night. We were having Christmas with family and this was given to us as a Christmas gift. The stay had to be one of the best gifts ever. We were able to come and go as we needed and they even made accommodations for us to eat breakfast when everyone else would like to have some time off also (or at least I would think so)...they never let on. Kat,Lynn,Jen, and Mike were the best in making us feel comfortable. I will definitely come back.

I'm a Regular!

Our stay at the Brick Street Inn on November 30, 2012, was fabulous. The setting was charming, the rooms were clean and elegant, the staff demonstrated the highest level of customer service and hospitality, and the food was amazing. From beginning to end, they were MORE than accomodating. We were upgraded to a street view room, which was very nice. The staff were ALL wonderful, and truly made this inn go from GREAT to OUTSTANDING. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. I wanted my mom to feel pampered, and she did. Nothing negative to say.

A weekend under the Harvest Moon

5 on October 01, 2012

We rented the entire space (rooms plus conference area), and the location was perfect for a large family gathering, with direct access to the charms of Zionsville. The rooms are spacious and beautiful and Patrick, Beth, and all of the servers were extremely personable and friendly at meals. Danielle worked with us through the challenges of the summer during the remodel with the reopening the week before our wedding. A truly magical weekend!

Wonderful place and service!

5 on September 30, 2012

Our whole family stayed at the Brick Street Inn for my sister's wedding. The rooms were absolutely wonderful - spacious, comfy and beautiful - and I have not had service like that at any hotel/B&B even though I travel quite a bit. Thank you so much for helping to make the weekend so easy and fun!!

Great B&B

Girls get-together in Zionsville. Enjoyed the shops and especially N.A. Noel's studio. Would stay at Brick Street Inn again for sure.

Phenomenal experience!

5 on June 25, 2012

Our stay at Zionsvile's Brick Street Inn was wonderful! While staying in a hotel room or bed and breakfast, I am very OCD about cleanliness. I was quite pleased as the Inn was extremely clean and well cared for! Additionally, the staff was quite personable and accommodating. The breakfast was fantastic, as we were able to sit outside and enjoy the morning sights and sounds. The setting of the Zionsville Brick Street Inn is extremely quaint and charming. My entire experience was incredibly positive and I will stay at the Brick Street Inn again! I would highly recommend it!

A Wonderful Place to Stay

4.8 on June 10, 2012

I had such a great time staying at the Brick Street Inn. Everyone was so helpful and friendly! The rooms were neat and very clean. The food served at Patrick's was delicious - we had the pecan French Toast for breakfast!!! Katrena was especially kind to us and made sure that we had a great time! Her kindness will not be forgotten. The location of the Inn is perfect - we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. This was a great place for a " girl's getaway".

Home Away from Home

5 on May 30, 2012

I recently stayed at Brick Street Inn while traveling through Zionsville for business. What a gem of a location! I was so impressed with the staff and management there. They truly made me feel welcome. The Inn was also conveniently located right on Main Street so we walked across the street to Friendly's Tavern and had a fabulous dinner. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to spend a weekend getaway or even while passing through the area. The rooms were clean, comfortable and truly uniquely thought out. Thank you, Brick Street Inn!!! - Erica Olenski, Plano, TX

Best B & B ever

5 on May 21, 2012

This is one of the nicest B & B's we have ever stayed in. The staff is very attentive. The food and atmosphere of the dining room were just outstanding. we have stayed with you more than once and when in Zionsville, Indiana we will not stay anywhere else. I grew up in that little town and i remember when the inn was a private residence. It looks even better now.

Excellent stay for business or pleasure!

5 on May 11, 2012

I stayed at the Brick Street Inn on a weeknight, while travelling through the area on business, and have to say that this was the perfect ending to a long trip. The inn and the rooms were well-maintained, charmingly furnished, and very comfortable. The inn itself is located in a wonderfully quaint neighborhood with many interesting shops and a variety of dining options. We ate at "Friendly's" grill, and the food options and quality were what I would consider gourmet pub food. The staff that I had the pleasure of meeting, Danielle and Kat, were very friendly and helpful, but the staff was also discreet enough that when I retired for the night, I felt as if I were sleeping in my own home. I highly recommend the Brick Street Inn, and would definitely return on vacation, so that I can have more time to explore the shops and relax in the comfortable common areas or room. Brick Street Inn Last Minute Check In

4.4 on May 01, 2012

I want to thank the over-nite check-in front desk staff that came immediately to the Inn around 11pm at night (after hours) to check us into a room we got after driving all night to find a place to stay for the night last minute. She not only got to the hotel in 15 minutes, but we were checked in and personally walked to our room in less than 30 minutes after we called! And when we got to our room, the room and ambience of the Inn was warm and welcoming, just as our service was late at night! The hotel was recently renovated and restored and has all the modern amenities of a 5-start accommodation with the allure and comforts of a bed-and-breakfast inn that is in a historic downtown such as Zionsville! The morning came and we went downstairs to have breakfast (which was complimentary) to find the owner wishing us a good morning and being our host over breakfast! We were given a choice of a variety of cooked-to-order breakfast options (that granted were not extensive but were fresh and had that personal touch that you don't get at a chain hotel "suite" accommodation). To top it all off, we were given some great recommendations to sightsee in Indianapolis and Zionsville for our stop over personally from the owner whom gave us a print out of things we talked to him about AND at check out, the same front desk manager checked us out whom checked us in only 9 hours earlier! Needless to say, this was one of the most memorable bed-and-breakfast experiences with attention to detail and a personable and welcoming touch that lives up to Hoosier Hospitality! If you are in Zionsville for a night or two, definitely consider staying with Brick Street Inn! I will definitely be back and telling my friends and family!

An absolute gem in a charmingly beautiful town.

5 on April 22, 2012

Lovely and meticulous in every way. Very up to date and comfy room. And super friendly staff that will take care of your every whim. An absolute must stop. Oh what a breakfast at Patricks - amazing home made three berry jam and local farm fresh goodies.

Simply perfect

5 on April 02, 2012

Unfortunately, I only had one night to stay at the inn, but I will definitely be coming back if I'm in the area. Zionsville is such a quaint little town and the Brick Street Inn is located right on Main Street amongst lots of shops and restaurants. The inn is BEAUTIFULLY restored. I stayed in Room 2, which overlooked Main Street. The room was immaculate! I was expecting the room to look like a room in a historic inn, but they had renovated and the room was large, bright, and beautifully furnished. I swear if I hadn't known the history of the inn I would have thought I was staying at a brand-new four-star hotel. The staff was so friendly and accomodating. Breakfast at Patrick's downstairs was wonderful. I definitely look forward to returning.

A most relaxing Inn

4.6 on February 20, 2012

We spent four nights at the Brick Street Inn and found it to be a wonderfully comfortable and quiet spot for a getaway. Our room was spotless, large, well appointed and convenient. It isn''t "overdone ", but all the necessities and desirable amenities were there. The Innkeeper went out of her way to provide very personal service and made every effort to ensure that our stay met our expectations. The king sized bed was so comfortable one would think they were sleeping on a cloud. Individual room heat controls from a central system allowed us to be comfortable without the noise associated with most single room systems. The Inn does not provide a breakfast cooked by Inn staff but the arrangement with the on site restaurant, Patricks Kitchen and drinks provides a hot breakfast on a special menu for Inn guests. If we desired extra food or items not included on the Inn menu, we could add those for a very nominal cost. The food is excellent.

Super Bowl Weekend

5 on February 15, 2012

The 3 nite stay was the best. It exceeded expectations having traveled quite a bit. The restaurant was terrific and first class service. The room was very good on not hearing anything from the restaurant below. The town is a delight with other fine restaurants also available. Outstanding service by everyone. Convenient to anywhere in the city of Indie with 20 minutes to downtown. Great stay.

We felt like we were special guests and had a wonderful time in Zionsville!

Situated in the heart of downtown Zionsville surrounded by one of a kind shopping and wonderful restaurants, a great weekend getaway! The room was super clean and comfortable...much bigger than I was expecting. The breakfast the following morning provided by Patruck's was wonderful, it was so nice to have a full service restaurant and bar located at the front of the Inn. We will absolutely stay again!

Always a good choice

I stay at this inn for every trip I make to the office in Zionsville. Nice people, very clean, beautifully decorated rooms. Very quiet. Breakfast was tasty, esp the bread pudding and omelets. Also very excited to hear that Patrick's is moving into the dining/bar area of the inn.

A wonderful week-end!

4.2 on November 02, 2011

I had been at the Brick Street Inn prior to the new ownership. I hoped this visit would be equally positive. It exceeded my last visit in every way. I brought three people who had never been to Zionsville. They we as thrilled as I. Danielle gave great attention to detail and answered any questions we had quickly and thoroughly, both about the Inn and Zionsville. Kat's food can't be beat anywhere!! Just as I thought she couldn't possibly outdo herself, she did. A relaxing atmosphere, we all felt pampered.

Badk in Time

The Zionsville Brick Street Inn is an experience best described as travel back in time to a culture of civility and grace and the provision of a respite from the ordinary. I cannot recommend a place from which to withdraw from the hectic pace of life than The Brick Street Inn.
