Great Place, Wonderful Innkeepers!

5 on July 03, 2018

The Inn is beautiful in every room! Beds are comfortable, breakfast delicious! The place is immaculate and I was glad to take time looking at all in the Inn! Fred and Sally were wonderful innkeepers, truly going beyond what they needed to do to help me with my health and changed travel plans. I absolutely appreciated the extra time and energy they put forth to make my experience the best.

A perfect gathering place for family!

We stayed two nights at The White House on Park Avenue. It was centrally located in Indiana so four couples from our family could spend the weekend together. The Inn was spotless, large rooms, and beautifully furnished. Fred and Sally are gracious and helpful hosts. The breakfasts served both mornings were truly amazing and elegant! We highly recommend this B&B for a relaxing and quiet stay.

Fantastic getaway!!

The hosts are the nicest people you have ever met. The food was great and the atmosphere was so relaxing. Will definitely go here again!

The Place to Stay when Visiting Jasper-Pulaski

4.8 on November 15, 2017

I stayed at the White House for the second time when I had traveled to the Jasper-Pulaski Wildlife Area to see the sandhill crane migration. The hosts, as always, were very welcoming, and accommodating of a slightly late arrival due to the viewing time for the cranes. The room was beautiful, a hot tub was most welcom after spending the day in the cold, and an early breakfast to accommodate my early departure was wonderful - I have used their baked bacon recipe ever since my first visit! The White House itself is simply marvelous to view, with amazing details beautifully restored to their Victorian beauty.

Our preferred place to stay when we visit family. Lovely rooms, great bathrooms with tubs and a delicious 2 course breakfast with a wonderful bread. A great value and very flexible owners!

Great Place to Stay!

We came in late from Chicago and our hosts were extremely accommodating. We hope to stay at this B&B again next year.

FANTASTIC!! Will Return Again!

I absolutely loved this place! I have known the owners for about 14 years and they are just the most amazing people ever! The Bird's Nest was perfect for me; small, cute and quaint. The alcove seating was just adorable and I love old historic homes, especially Victorian style. The room was perfect, the bed was very comfy. The breakfast on Sunday was delicious. Sally asked me if I was allergic to anything while checking me in and asked if I drink coffee. When I said that I wasn't allergic and that I do drink coffee, she informed me that breakfast is served at 8am and coffee is ready by 630/700am. The orange french toast, sausage and breakfast fruit-tini was delicious! I am never picky on foods so whatever they would've served, I would've eaten! I definitely would recommend this place to anyone wanting a quiet respite away from the real world. This was my first time staying at a bed & breakfast and I can't wait to make a return visit. Thank you so much Sally & Fred! Love ya!

We will be back!

Welcomed into a quiet and lovely neighborhood with a well-appointed B & B hosted by a charming couple, my husband and I truly enjoyed our time at The White House on Park Avenue.

House was beautiful!

The White House was a beautiful home. The period woodwork was beautifully preserved. The host was very friendly and helpful with restaurants in the area. The breakfast scones were amazing! I would go there again just for those!
