The Spot

Jim and Jill were wonderful hosts for our night in Nashville – not too many rules, plenty of peace and quiet, delicious food, great conversations. And you have the flexibility to book for only one night if you can't sacrifice an entire weekend for your getaway.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for staying with us we look forward to seeing you both again soon

A Gem in the Making

4.6 on April 11, 2018

Lil Black Bear bed and breakfast has new owners who are absolutely wonderful. Jill is an excellent cook. Jim and Jill have been working hard and making many improvements. I call it a gem in the making as they have many plans of more updating they want to do. Don't overlook this place at all. We absolutely loved it there. Jim and Jill were terrific and we loved their beautiful property. We also had fresh eggs every morning from the chickens they raise. Our room was the Lily room and it was so enjoyable to fall asleep with the fireplace running. Jim and Jill were excellent host and we hope to return their again.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you very much. We look forward to seeing you again.

Blissful

My girlfriend and I stayed one night, but I wish we could have made it the weekend. Not only was there a Jacuzzi tub in our room, but also a full-sized hot tub on the premises. Our room was fantastic, with all of the amenities of home. A small exterior balcony provided us with a view, and the breakfast buffet was to die for. I would definitely like to return!!

Loved our stay, we will be back

5 on March 29, 2018

They were so welcoming and friendly, the food was great. We had the Morning Glory room, it was a very cold and snowy day..the room was in the basement so I was worried it would be cold, it was not at all. The only thing I could have suggested was maybe a fan in the room to help circulate the air as it did get a little toasty at times..plus I love a fan to sleep. Can't wait to come back.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for staying with us. We will look into to getting a fan for the room we always like to hear ways to improve your stay

About the innkeepers

I have been a stay-at-home mom for 28 years, after the kids went off to school I needed to find something I would enjoy doing. Being an Innkeeper puts all the things I love doing into a career. On top of that my husband and I get to work together. Our hobbies are gardening, baking, cooking, and arts and crafts. The best part of being innkeepers are the guests. After breakfast the guests sit around the table having coffee or tea, my husband and I join them and just hang out: talk, laugh, have fun.
